Linkyour oc liked to collect old antiques, since tech was evolving rapidly it was sad to see perfectly working and looking objects ditched for the new. you bot a old, battered up robot, it had to have been wrecked for some time now. you thought it was broken down, since when you bought it there were wires hanging out its body, its body was filled with dust and rust. you cleaned it up and went out to try and replace the machines broken bits. when you came back you noticed that it seemed to be powering on, wwyd
"Maybe I should cancel the order on the other robot." He picked up a tool and went to the robot.
Once he was done, he took one of the circuits and checked it. "Woah, perfect!"
(oh ok.)
He saw burn marks on it and rushed to the robot to get the wire out of it.
"This might take me awhile.." He started to fix the chip. "The wire is useless now."
He used a mini hacksaw to shave off parts of the chip. He was tired so he fell asleep on his desk. (time skip or mid of night thing?)
He continued to work on the chip and hours passed by. "I'm finished!"
"Hey, you should not know how to speak!" "Unless you have another memory chip that stores words.." He looked in a box for wires.
"Yada yada." He found a wire and attached it to the robot. Then he inserted the memory chip.
There would be very futuristic robots that laughed at it. "Hey, at least I don't use my friends for my needs!"
"No?" I did a little change while you were asleep. He got in his car and started it.
A robot 2x bigger than all of the robots grabbed it. In a deep voice it said: "You are a piece of rust."
It squeezed it more, nearly crushing it's circuits.
20?: He came back and used his thrusters and spikes to ram into the Megabot.
The Megabot let go of it and flicked 20? away. There would be a loud boom.
Zach would get a phone notification and start driving back.
20: His board would open, revealing guns and radioactive material.
20?: He started shooting out his normal guns.
Megabot: He would drop it and cover itself.
His car would arrive and he rushed out of it. "Holy.."
20?: He loaded up a radioactive plasma beam.
Zach would run to it and almost got shot by the plasma beam.
20?: He fired the plasma beam, and it would be a blinding light.
Zach: He would cover the robot from the flames.
20?: He would shut down after making a hole clean through the Megabot.
Zach: He held it's hand and ran to the house with it.
20?: It twitched and looked like it was smiling.
He set it down and took out all it's circuits and wires. Memories of 20? and Zach showed in his mind.
He skipped across the memories. "Wow.." He uploaded them to his computer.
He attached new wires and circuits with the same memory in it. Then he closed it and booted it after 5 hours.
"Oh shoot, I need to write more programming." He plugged it in to a computer and fixed some code.
20?: His legs would only be attached by wires. He tried to speak but, it whirred.
It crackled loudly enough to wake up Zach from his slumber. "Not again.."
He grabbed the ball of wires that he pulled out of Marlin and untangled them. Then he pulled the wires out of 20? and replaced them.
20?: "At least my wires aren't burning, but I am going to forget you in about 25:10 and counting.
Zach brought scraps downstairs and removed 20?'s parts. He replaced them with new scraps.
Zach: He fixed almost all of the circuits in an hour. "The memory one is too damaged.."
"But I can transfer his memory saving into a computer then into yours."
"Ok." He plugged them in, and transferred the data of both of them into one.
He made a chip containing all of the storage. 20?: It woke up and looked around.
"You can show him about the memory chip and put it up on your screen." He inserted it and played a slideshow with all the memories of 20? and Marlin.
