Kate loved her parents. She was picky when it came to colors. If someone colored her room pink, she would hate it and demand them to change it. She didn't mind basic colors like white, black, grey, or beige. She loved purple, but it didn't look the best when the room was colored that was, so she liked to stick with basic colors. She also loved the colors blue and burgundy. Kate was lying on her bed, sleeping like the little peaceful girl she was, until she fell off the bed. She began to cry and crawled to her mother, who was sitting on a rocking chair, reading a book under a lamp. Her mother glanced at her and stood, approaching the sobbing child. As Kate crawled, she felt something consume her from below, and she turned her head to notice her leg was inhaled by the floor. She clung onto her blanked, pillow, and her favorite plush- cuddles -as she was sucked into an alternate dimension. She fell, landing against an uncomfortable soggy carpet on a hard floor.

The pain of the fall shot through her body from her head to her toes as she laid there, slowly going unconscious. She woke up a few hours later to discover she was being carried. She panicked slightly, checked to see if it was a parent, friend, or relative, and panicked even more to see it wasn't. She began to struggle and cry as if she was being kidnapped, not realizing the person wanted to help her. She was pud down. Upon further inspection, she observed that the person had blue skin and a sad face, along with a hoodie, pants and sneakers. She liked the appearance of this person, yet she was still scared of them. She ran away, hearing footsteps behind her. She heard a voice call, "Wait! I just want to help you!" and "You won't survive here on your own!" Confused, she stopped running and turned around, soon being scooped up by the person again. "Look, this place isn't safe for you." The stranger explained."There are entities in this place that could kill you." "What is entity?" Kate asked.

The stranger sighed. "An entity is a monster that can kill you. There are many of them in this place." "What is this place anyway?" *siiigh* "The backrooms." "Backrooms?" "Yes, backrooms. There are many levels with entities in them. You are currently in level 0." "0?" "yep." "yep?" "gahhh, just come with me! You're too young to defend yourself here." "No I'm not!" "yes you are." "I like to hit things with my spoon." "That's nice, but you should get out of here." "nooo, I want to hit scawy entities with my spoon." "gaaaaah!"
