Sweetheart. Look at me. Not at my eyes, at my soul. I’ve been completely broken by many people. For months I felt no happiness and cried myself to sleep LITERALLY every night. Most of the people who did that didn’t mean to. Does that mean I forgive them? No. I forgive people when they’re actively tryimg to become a better person. Ask yourself this. Are you trying to become a better person? Are you going to live in the present with the gift of your past mistakes? Or will you live in the past with regret and grief from your mistakes?

You’re beautiful in every way and it doesn’t matter if you’ve made mistakes AS LONG AS YOU MOVE FORWARDS. I’m actively recovering from my depression, yet i KNOW those people are still going to break me down again the minute I come back from summer break. But I’m moving forward like a true soldier. When I get shot and the pain is unbearable, I just say to myself, “left foot.... right foot.. left foot.. right foot.” until i get to the hospital at the end of the trail. Almost everyone can be against you, even your own mind. But people are there if you can’t say to yourself “left foot, right foot” and they can carry you as far as you could ever need. We are here for you, and while this sounds cheesy, love can solve any problem if you push it hard enough. That is to say... we love you!

Not forgive and forget, forgive and move on! You have to remember your mistakes so you don’t make the same one again! :3
