Ashers and Cinders are two ancient societies of beings, or sentient creatures, that are able to manipulate and channel the life energy of all things, Aethir, along with abilities given to them by the Goddess, Lydio. Long ago, the Cinders were accused of murdering three of the Royal Family members, leaving only the youngest Prince, Fionn MacMidni, who was only twelve years old. A long, 15 year war broke out, known as the War Of The Great Fire. Thousands died, hundreds suffered, and the Ashers, along with the Cinders, ended the conflict when the King of the Ashers, Fionn MacMidni, and the Queen of the Cinders, Alisha Briar signed the Concordant of Embers. Ever since the treaty was signed, there have been minor skirmishes, but the Ashers and Cinders have, so far, maintained peace between each other.
