well heres my thing- she was alright until the clans got to the lake she met crowfeather, and fell in love with him as soon as he saves her, just as he loves her ive always been a fan of the whole feathertailxcrowfeather ship, so that automatically made me a little disappointed, mostly in crowfeather, of course but then she started meeting with him and whatnot, pretty much abandoning her medicine duties several times, leaving cinderpelt to do everything, who, by the way, was not even supposed to be a medicine cat, but thats not the topic haha so after cinderpelt tries her hardest to keep leafpool out of trouble, leafpool pushes it and disrespects her, abandons her clan altogether, and runs away with crowfeather cinderpelt was one of my favorites, so for leafpool to disrespect her like that just made me upset ok so now fast-forward to when cinderpelt dies you know, she probably wouldnt have if leafpool hadnt run away with crowfeather so leafpool ultimately decides to stay with her clan, (continued

great. but what happens? she figures out shes pregnant, and puts the burden of those kits and her lie on her sister, which will result in a disaster between that entire family, causing unnecessary drama in the clans of course, without leafpool, two of the three prophecy cats would not have been born, which is why i can see why people like her she also seemed relatively nice? but i guess i always saw her as selfish so i disapprove lol

i just think he was heartbroken he was such a sweetheart before he liked squirrelflight, and he didn't actually kill them and the difference between him and hawkfrost was the fact that hawkfrost had evil intentions throughout his life, ashfur really only wanted to get back at squirrelflight for breaking his heart, which im not saying is ok, but its also not as bad as wanting to take over all 4 clans and slaughter more cats
