LinkSo, basically your oc was hired by the king and queen of the kingdom of darkness to be a guard for the prince, dispit there already being like 5 guards with that job, your oc has always been confused at why the prince was never allowed out of teh castle without some sort of guard, or disguise with him, so that's the main reason why your oc wanted the job, out of pure curiosity, also the job pays well, so theres that too, anyways, after getting through multiple days of training your oc was finally allowed to start the actual job, and went to find the prince as ordered, so they go to the main throneroom and see the prince staring at a dark crown with a bright green gem in the center that was in a case, the prince didnt seem to notice your oc at all
So, wwyd?

Oh also small detail that i keep forgetting to add to the scenarios-
He has a scar under his left eye thats never mentioned or explained
Ari, the murder child, being a guard for a prince- sounds reasonable enough- lol)
Hades: -jumps, and turns around startled- ?!?!!?--- o-oh- uhh.. N-nothing.. Who- who are you?
Hades: ....a-anyways uhhh- I'm.. Im gonna just go to my room- um.. B-bye- -he just runs off-
Hades: -stops running becuase he remembered he isnt supposed to run in the main halls, and just proceeds to walk quickly, the rest of the way to his room-
Hades: ..i-im going to my room, and I am no longer running becuase running through the main halls is prohibited-
Hades: ...b-becuase its one of the main halls? That meaning if you run in the hall you are likely to accidnetally run into someone because the castle s-staff are usually using these halls alot...
Hades: ......outside I guess? Maybe the court yard.. Or the guard barracks..
Hades: ...youre a guard, t-they tell you what you can and cannot do in the t-training dont they-? ...linmoore said thats how it works- did you not speak to linmoore..? -quiet speaking, nervous bean-

-random room is just ballroom, empty, but very nice looking-
Hades: -sound of dart hitting a dart board, becuade hades has a dart board, meaning he most likely didnt hear ari-
-the door is unlocked-
Hades: -throwing darts at a dartboard, having perfect aim and hitting the bullseye almost every time-
Hades: -goes to grab another dart but the box was empty, then just looks at the box and is now sad- ...oh- I threw them all-
-he then just goes up to the dartboard and collects the darts-
Hades: -looks at the door- ...hm-? Was someone there? Hello?
Hades: .....oh- o-ok then.. -looks at dart board, then at ari- Th-thank you-?
-tall elf man talking to the king in a random area of the court yard-
-the king and the tall man seem to be talking about the prince, but not in a bad way, its more of just a protective conversation-
-the tall elf man bows, and the king leaves, the conversation has ended and the elf man, which is now noticed that he is in fact wearing armor, starts to walk away-
Tall elf man: -just did not see are and just continues to be walking away lol-
Tall elf man: .......... -just stare, as if waiting for ari to say something other then hi-
Tall elf man: ...you should know that, seeing as how you are a.. Very out of uniform staff member-
Tall elf man: -facepalms and sighs- ...were you assigned to watch the price earlier? Becuase based on your attitude I can tell youre a guard... Or at least a guard in training-
Tall elf man: ......my name is linmoore and i am your comanding officer, also, if you were assigned to watch the prince you are doing a very bad job of it
Linmoore; ..yes-- also you probably just startled him, he's not used to the whole 'needing more then 2 Guard's thing yet.... Honestly I dont even know why the king insisted it-

(Splat, real name is Sarenade (pronounced: Sarah-nade) so like if the queen or king is addressing them then like- also this mf is gender-fluid so they go by like all pronouns, most commonly she/they tho- but splat accepts everything-)
Splat froze. feeling like something was wrong, they carefully approached the prince.
"I-Is everything alright....your majesty?.." they asked, feeling a little too creeped out.

Hades: -startled by the sudden voice, then looks at them- ?!-- oh- uhh- yes- i-im ok- ....who are y-you?
she sighed of relief for a second, then brushed themselves off, quickly preparing for their introduction.
"Hiya, I'm splat-" she fiddled with her fingers and looking away, they were kinda bad at both eye contact and introductions, though after coming to a quick realization that what they were doing wasn't professional, they're whole tone changed. as they stood still and static
"My name is Sarenade. A new member of the royal guard." they bowed
Hades: .....oh- -he seemed slightly confused for a moment- uh- formalities arent nessisary y-you dont have to bow-
"th-they're not-" splat had this dumb look on their face
they immediately stood up
"I'm so sorry!!!" they pleaded for forgivness
Hades: n-no its ok- sorry.. Uh- don't worry- -he was talking a little quiet and fast, almost mumbling-
splat noticed the way he talked and frowned
"is something the matter your majesty?" they spoke softly
