I wonder if the Night Grows jealous of the Day. When the songbirds sing And laughter rings And children shout and play. I wonder if Night grows lonely When the world is fast asleep. When the silence falls And owls call And the restless count their sheep. I wonder if the Day Grows jealous of the Night. When moonlight glows And nightlife shows And stars are shining bright.
