Absolutely sir, I like music and robots and aliens and masks. What would you like to hear about on this fine evening?
I mainly listen to metal but I dabble in everything really. My favourite artist is called sleep token, they’re mainly a mix of pop, rnb and other genres with a sprinkle of metal here and there. They are very cool
OH PEAK i also indulge in metal as well as nu-metal(fav genre) and sometimes i also listen to breakcore/digital hardcore and sometimes emo stuff i really like linkin park and kittie, whitechapel, machine girl, picture me broken are some ive been listening to recently ive listened to sleep token a few times
Whitechapel is so peak, deathcore is my favourite subgenre (crazy to say as a sleep token fan I know). Do you have a favourite song/ album by them? I actually drew the hymns in dissonance album on dewdul, it's my pfp on there lol. Also I was supposed to see Kittie at download festival this year but I missed them because we lost track of time and ended up going on a ferris wheel instead, but I'm not the biggest fan of them anyways. Also how do you feel about sleep token? What songs or albums have you listened to?
THATS SO COOL can u share a link possibly so i can see?? my favorite albums are kin and mark of the blade, i have 2 favorite songs from both of those which is i will find you and bring me home. i also forgot to mention i really like breaking benjamin and three days grace, tdg and chevelle were actually the first alternative rock band i listened to. i would LOVE to see kittie live unfortunately my parents arent at all involved in the metal scene and i dont think theyd let my brother take me but possibly!
i dont think i have much of a negative opinion on sleep token but i see people hating on it a lot. its just mostly not the kind of music i would listen to that often, i had a friend who tried to put me on but i cant remember the songs they suggested but i think a few of the songs were from tmbte

Also, I LOVE KIN. It's an underrated album, glad to see you appreciate it too. My favourite track from there is definitely the title track, but other songs I like are when a demon defiles a witch and hymns in dissonance (of course, but to be honest I love that entire album). To be honest I'm not the biggest fan of Kittie because I don't really like female singers (don't kill me please). I like deeper vocals, which is probably why sleep token appeal to me a lot, and why I can't listen to most emo music and am very particular about certain genres like metalcore. And yeah, sleep token are kind of the butt of so much hate right now. Mainly because their recent album even in Arcadia charted at number one and is blowing up in the metal scene, people tend to hate what's popular. I can understand a lot of the critiques (i.e. it isn't metal enough, it's too focused on theatrics, Vessel sounds like he's chewing peanut butter whilst he's singing. etc) but-
-I've liked the band for a while now and I am absolutely obsessed with them, nothing could make me hate them. I got a lot more to say about it but I don't wanna bore you lol

and YEA DW I GET IT i also prefer deeper vocals but i absolutely love morgans voice, one of my favorite songs is fire(honestly just the album as well) and the vocals are just so amazing idek how to explain it
i would never hate on anyone for what music they listen to especially if im not an active listener of it and dont know anything about it, which is exactly me with sleep token LOL so idm if u wanna say more go ahead!!!
I could try giving a listen to a few songs now if you have some recommendations, but I have tried to like them. No full albums though because I'm already listening to music rn lol but yeah there's always been lingering controversy about sleep token ever since they got into the spot light with tmbte. People are always debating if they are "real metal" or not. Personally, I wouldn't say they are a metal band, just a very experimental pop band with metal influences. The funny thing is to me though is that a lot of people hate how sleep token is considered "metal", but it's not like the band ever said they were. Before tmbte released, it was pretty much just pop/ rock tracks. It's like people are setting the standard that they are going to be really heavy and then getting mad when their own standard they set is broken. Also, people really hate heavily on gimmick bands, which I can't understand at all. I LOVE gimmick bands, mainly because I have a passion for masks and the art form of them and a lot of gimmicky-
-bands tend to use them, so I'm very bias. I see cool masks, I'll give it a listen 100%. I don't know, maybe I'm part of the problem and I'm one of the people "killing the metal genre" but there's nothing wrong with some theatrics guys, loosen up a bit. Aesthetics are cool, y'know?
