I shade my characters, simply by grabbing that tool that sorta looks like a drill, grab the colors, #FFFFFF, and #000000, or white and black, and lower the opacity of the color, and badabing, badaboom, you get shading, Here's a photo of it to help you out: https://aggie.io/api/share/7271fb3145.png
