And disliked the idea of gender roles.

Relationships are so so... gendered.

The guy opens doors, pulls out chairs, proposes.

The girl... ig has more... autonomy nowadays.

but like... sure it's more common for the girl to propose now, but more common doesn't mean common. it's more common comparatively.

And slow dancing. There's a part for each person.

I don't know, I just think it... kinda restricts the freedom and creativity and spontaneousness that relationships so desperately need.

I'd really really love to live in a world where... gender doesn't matter.

But that's not the world we live in.

So... So I think that gay relationships bring the... equal partnership in the relationship. it's balanced. no specific responsibilities on one person unless they decide it.

I could propose to my girlfriend, or she could propose to me.

If I was dating a guy, I'd probably try to equal it out, maybe propose myself, but that's an exception, not the norm.

It's the symptoms of a gendered society.

And society is really really hard to treat.
