So your oc owned a small shop in a market. it wasnt a big shop but it was big enough to be profitable. so one day when they were restocking the supplies you noticed alot seemed to be missing. they were heavily confused, looking around to see if maybe it was misplaced but it seemed to just have vanished into thin air. this started to be a noticeable problem as stuff like jewellery or food continued to go missing. Eventually though, you got a lead. there was a small figure searching through the crates calmly. you were going to stop them but before you got close they saw you and panicked, running with the stolen jewellery on their tail. You chased after them, which took ages as they were too quick but luckily for you they ran into a dead end, with you already at the other side of the alley. wwyd

they whimpered, but mustered up a snarl* "i found it- i-its mine-!"

they snarled again, their tail tightening its grip*

"oh- are y-you supposed to eat slower-?" they tilted their head*

They calmly sat at the table, their tail flicking around*

they looked at them sceptically* "your just-.. giving me it-?"

they looked a bit frightened, stepping back*

They gently placed the money into a nearby box*

they snarled at you, holding the jewellery closer. they weren't intimidating but it was still a warning*

they looked confused, but slowly placed it into the box near them*

they yelped and darted out their grip since well theres no way they could hold somebody up*

they nodded* "Hard t-to sleep. those metal boxes are loud" they pointed at the road, which was occupied by a few cars*

they looked quite impressed, making a ":O" face*

they yawned gently, a ember floating out their mouth*

they tilted their head, still smiling*

Although Mik still didnt fully understand what they were saying, they looked guiltily at the items, slowly handing one over*

"M-Mik" they smiled nervously, still a bit nervous from how tall and angry they were a few seconds earlier*

they nodded, smiling a bit more. Though they were still weary they didnt fear them anymore* "I-Its fine"

they smiled at them, placing it into a nearby box. there was a small, wore down note attached to the box*

they looked at the tentacle, making a slightly concerned face from how damaged it was* "are you-.. okay-?"

"oh. i hope it heals" they smiled gently at them*

they smiled obliviously, their tail flicking slightly*
