I’m sure I’ve definitely said before, but I feel like it needs to be addressed. Schools typically put you in a spot where you have no choice but to do what you’re told. Same goes for electives. Art is one of those electives that really just makes me mad. We barley get any freedom, and it’s like they’re teaching us to do art their way, and not our own. It gives us less of a chance to find your own style and your own path, it teaches kids and teens to follow by the rules, when art doesn’t have any rules. Art is art because you’re doing it your way.
