Ever since your oc was young they would hear the story about a creature that lived in a swamp, it was told to have the face of a thin, starving young man and the body of a stretched mangled ragdoll, and it had the matted shoulder length hair of a young woman and it would mimic the voices or sounds of anything known to distress humans
(oc name) simply didnt believe the warning and believed it to be an old tale to keep children away from the forest until some day when they were older they went out into the woods with a few friends, they all had gotten hopelessly lost and your oc was trying to find their way back until they heard what sounded to be the voice of one of their friends then the sound of horrified cries
your oc for some reason decided to go check on their "friend" only to stumble into the 12 foot tall mangly creature

the creature stood abnormally crooked, as its claw like fingers twitched violently, there was no sound coming from it other then the occasional chatter of its thousands of needle like teeth, the thing didnt even seem to breathe it onto stared with its pure white eyes, untill its eyes rolled down, it now stared with very, large, pupils that almost cover the entire eye
The thing stares, completely still, obviously not intimidated but instead intrigued as it snaps its head to the side roughly
Vic wasent really scared his friend tried pulling him away “don’t touch me I wanna bloop”
the thing just, stared in visible confusion, and it just, sat down, watching what was going on. It wasnt showing any hostile behavior, only good boy
its face was completely stiff, almost like leather so it didnt squish very well as it scrunched its nose and opened its large pitch black mouth revealing multiple rows of those teeth, it make a strange static noise before doing an exact replica of his voice saying "dont touch me"
it blinks a few times before giving a goofy grin in thankfullness

it perked up at thing and smiled wide and nodded before he could finish, making a happy trilling sound

it makes just such happy trills before pausing and holding him close

the creature made not a sound but the chattering of its thousands of needle like teeth, as it simply stared, its elongated mangled body standing as if it were almost to break in half
it stared, completely still, no sound, no movement, no nothing, just waiting for her to move, taunting
the thing continued, completely still, no movement, no sound, until the sudden crack of its head roughly jerking to the side, after the sudden movement its body continued tilting to the side, very, very slowly, as if it were preparing to attack

Luke ran over to where he heard the scream and stopped in shock as he saw the giant thing

He kinda backed away behind a tree, trying to figure out where his friend was

He covered his mouth in horror and started digging his nails into the tree, finding spots where he could lodge his feet. He managed to get up half the tree, but soon found himself out of holds and looked back at the creature, his eyes open in fear
the creature was now, barely a foot away from him, they were now face to face due to the tree's height, and the creature slowly cracked open a very, wide grin, showing every last one of those horrifying needly teeth
He opened his eyes in sheer horror, trying to force a scream out of his mouth, but no sound wanted to face that monster. He clutched the tree with one hand, and put the other one in front of him, trying to shield himself from the beast.
it just tilted its head in confusion as it held its long clawed hands under him, ready to catch him if he falls off of the tree so he wont get hurt
He is just scared for his life by then and doesn’t really realize that the creature is nice
it held one hand under him and hesitated a bit before patting lukes head with one, long cold finger as he has seen other humans do in attempt to comfort
He freezes and looks at the creature with these wide eyes, trying to figure out what was going on
the creature makes a strange throaty rattle as it grins, revealing its hundreds/thousands of teeth continuing to pat his head because it thinks the look on his face is cute
He looks at it, and manages with a shaky voice
“What,, what are you?”
it opens its large pitch black mouth showing multiple more rows of teeth before making a staticy noise before mimicking his exact voice saying "what"

His feet made soft crunching sounds as he stepped on the earthly floor in his haste to help his friend. The swift movement caused his heart necklace to jingle. He made a grunt as he tripped on a tree root and stumbled into the creature. He inhaled and exhaled quickly as he looked up at it.-

He shoved tall bushes away from his face, even as the thorns pricked him, causing his hands to very lightly bleed. He couldn't call for his friends, so he hopped that with his necklace making noise, his friends will recognize him and come to him.-
the creature seemed to stay where it was but to Yuito's dismay the thing wasnt behind him anymore, but now was standing a few hundred feet ahead, its head and entire body tilted in what seems to be curiosity
-Yuito pushed his feet into the ground softly, causing him to stop running, has pace slowed to a walk, then stopped. He blinked and looked at the creature confused, he looked around for a clear path again, other than the one behind him to leave.-

-Yuito seemed to be frowning. He then turned to the right and ran through, pushing away the bushes and branches again. Before nearly falling in a pond. He doubled back to a safe distance from the edge.-
the thing just watched him from a distance, strangely it wasnt chasing him, it was just following him out of genuine curiosity
-Yuito wasn't very comfortable, but he was very glad that the creature wasn't chasing him. He looked around and then walked off somewhere, still in search of his friends, worried for them. He didn't know if they were in danger or not.-
the thing decided maybe human was being strange because it normally sees human in groups so it lumbers off to find any more humans so other human will have buddy and relax

-Yuito slightly flinched but after a moment he tilted his head towards the creature as they pet him. 'Its ok.. its not your fault..' He thought. He couldn't speak since his mouth was zipped closed but he hoped by his actions the creature understood.-

-Yuito calmed down rather quickly, giving a trusting aura to the creature. He seemed happy to at least have something with him.-

the thing grins widely as the whites of its eyes completely vanish as its eyes closed, it simply seemed to vibrate with joy because well, lets face it this is its first time getting this close to a living thing

the thing froze in not expecting the person to start sobbing since it felt it wasnt being nasty, but it sits on the ground and gently puts one of his hands around noah, petting the lil guys head with one long cold boney finger in attempt to comfort him
He opened his eyes again. He was confused. He just stood there, starting to calm down. ¨I.. thought you were going to eat me.¨
it gently picked him up and held him close in a comforting manner, because it likes humans because they are just tiny sentient beings. it continued to pet his head
He chuckled. ¨You´re not as scary as you look.¨ Noah was in disbelief. ¨A-and I thought you were a myth!¨
it gently held him up to its face, examining the little human it had caught, a wide goofy needly grin plastered on its face, enjoying little human
He smiled back. He would rather be with this unbelievable creature than be back in the lab. Noah had recently ran away with his best friend who was nowhere to be seen.

She felt a talon slam onto her tail, and she turned to see Lion (SandWing) shaking his head furiously at her. "I just wanna see," she hissed. Lion heaved a sigh and raised his venomous tail. "Ill be here if it attacks you." Mariana nods and continues forward, raising her wings in a submissive position. "Hi, there," she murmurs softly. "Who are you?" (in her experience going up to an unfamiliar creature with claws raised only leads to getting hurt so she makes a point to do this.)
