yeah I volunteered to paint faces at the fair once and it was either stiff as a board or actively trying to dance while I'm trying to paint

my entire life is just doing random side quests ngl

yeahhh I volunteered for an old person nursing home once just because I wanted to be able to feed their colorful finches they acted like I was doing something amazing and selfless but I was too afraid to tell them I was there for the bird and the free soft serve ice cream

I wasn't even making money I just showed up for the ice cream

I stopped going when I had to practice trumpet at home a lot so my band instructor didn't kill me

I was not the best at it because of my mouthpiece prioritizing good sound quality over high notes so I mostly played part 3 trumpet

I still have my trumpet somewhere I think I might drag it out and play that one solo in Havana because I have nothing better to do
