Xenogender is a group of non-conforming genders, and these are often used my neurodivergent people who experience gender in a different way, and xenogenders often come with special pronouns known as “neopronouns.” Usually (in most cases that I’ve seen), xenogender people don’t only use their neopronouns, but may also use regular pronouns as well as neopronouns, so you might see someone with she/they/xe/star in their bio. A commen misconception is that people who are, for example, catgender or stargender, identify as cats or stars. This is not true. When someone is something like cowgender, they are using cows to describe their gender. If someone is strawberrygender, they are using strawberries to describe their gender.
