FIFTIES MOMENT!!!!!!! back to workwear so no fun fashion but ill be honest, 50s fashion isnt that interesting (for men at least). ties were skinny, everything was beige for fear of angering those damn commies, and once the cold war chilled out a bit they still didnt do anything Fun. so uh. overalls (and a crew cut, getting closer to his modern haircut which honestly could pass for vintage in some instances)
the Loretm of this era was basically uhhhh construction worker time (crystal is the only one that cares abt this and she basically knows but im gonna write it out anyways for posterity's sake). he gets into construction so he can get some on the job experience with learning architecture without going to school, bc fsck college. he takes every possible opportunity to seek out the architect of whatever project hes building and bug them about stuff. i think he probably lived in a suburban/rural area around this time so no scary skyscraper building black and white photos (i also think he lived outside of cities for a really long time)
