Cross: *notices that shes being stared at and looks straight at Sam *...

Cross: * talks with the barista like they were good friends, and says something that makes her laugh, which softly echos through the cafe *

Cross: * her laugh dies down but she still looks at the barista and bits of the conversation is heard* -Hallow! you are so done for! *another laugh* god, that reminds me of the time where we got caught * the barista known as "hallow" finishes the sentence and also laughs with Cross *

( n o , t h a t i s s o s a d *sad noise* ) Cross: *is still in a conversation but slows it down on her part and looks at the small comment made * Hallow: Cross? Cross? You alright?

Cross: mmmph.. im fine. *returns focus to Hallow and shifts her weight to the other foot * Hallow: you know you do have to order right? i'll get fired if not :D Cross: *sighs and looks at the menu and thinks for a moment * I'll get the White Chocolate Salted Caramel Cappuccino Drip, with Almond milk please. Hallow: Okay. *huffs* the usual. *gets to work on making the coffee for Cross *

Cross: *pulls out a phone, and earphones, waiting for it to be done, and gets those situated for her *

Cross: * now has one earbud in and scrolling through playlist, leaning at the far end of the counter *

Hallow: *notices Sam * i'll be right there- Cross: * glances up at sam *

Cross: *gives a questioning look at Sam * ?

Cross: *about to say something but gets interrupted by Hallow * Hallow:-your drink is ready, Cross. *cross grabs,pays,and thanks Hallow adding a "see you after work", and sips it, walking to the nearest table. which is like a table across from Sams spot *

Hallow: Next costumer please- *gives a robotic, required smile *

Hallow: uuuuhm, we have Dragon-Fruit, Kiwi, Strawberry, and Mango Tea. And of course, regular tea, Sweet and unsweetened.

Hallow: okay, one sweet tea coming right up. * makes the sweet tea *

Hallow: Here you are. One sweet tea. Enjoy the rest of our evening, come again soon! *hands Sam his Sweet Tea *

Cross: *sips coffee, while scrolling through her phone, while listening to music, softly mouthing the lyrics *

Cross: * not noticing and lightly sings parts of the lyrics and tilts her head and gives a small giggle to whatever that was shown on her screen *

Cross: *glances over and notices the v=book, and takes out the earbuds, and smiles * i love that book-

Cross: sorry, didn't mean to startle you.

Cross: *feels bad, and wants to conversate with this poor nervous bean, and thinks while sipping her coffee *

Vross; ...well, i come here often, since my best friend, Hologriphic, or Hallow works here. so if you wanna talk or just enjoy the treats and drinks here, you know where to go. *gives a genuine smile*

Cross: *thoughts: whoo! conversation! damn i'm good at this. * So, who's your favorite character right now? *looks at the book then at sam * mines the antagonist. :)

Cross: their really mysterious, and edgy, and like takes nothing from the others. he also got shaped into who they are from their toxic peers, which makes the antagonist more intoxicating and addicting....*small nervous laugh * oratleastthatswhatithink..

Cross: *smiles* really? i thought i was the only one!! i have the whole series... im such a nerd when it comes to that book

Cross: *gasps and sips her coffee * shut.up your pulling my leg

Cross: i never met another person who has the same book interest as me, well in that book series at least!! that's so cool! *tilts head and looks at sam with brows knit in concern* are you okay?

Cross: i know we just barely met, but you can tell me if there is something i did wrong, or that there is something bothering you. okay? i'll listen and not judge, just unconditionally be there for you and be your friend! *smiles*
