About the “HITO-GATA NO NEKO” project I, my amazing friends, have taken it upon myself to create a whole world that revolves around humanoid-cat monsters created by the darkest areas of science in the middle of a large technological war based around japan and America. The Japanese scientific nation, that follows the acrostic; B.R.A.I.N. Biotechnology Radiobiology Anatomy Interphase Nucleotide (i picked random words that go with the plot, i know what they mean) they focus on the study of animals, especially the cat [Felis Catus] a scientist by the name of Kagemura Itoshi came up with a ploy, an idea to fuse the DNA and genetics of a cat with human beings. it has been scientifically proven that 90.2% of human DNA is shared with cats; the felines are agile, quick thinking and intelligent beings. like humans, they have temporal occipital, frontal and parietal lobes of their cerebral cortex.

Dr Kagemura also claims that “Cats seem to think in the same pattern as humans, partly owing to the similarity of neurotransmitters. Cats receive input from the basic five senses and process the data just as humans do.” cats are also able to suffer from human disease, for example; Obesity, Diabetes, heart disease , thyroid disease and cancer. there was a documented case of a cat#FC2980 that suffered the effects of hyperthyroidism, kidney disease and cancer, deceased 2013. the fusion of human beings and cats would make fine soldiers to fight on the front lines against America and its allies. so thats what they did, created these humanly monsters just to end the entire existence of humans around the globe. what remains are upper life-form mammals and lower life-form mammals and ocean wildlife. the rest mutated afterwards into three seperate categories:

1. the lowest of them all, Yottsu-ashi no neko (四つ足の猫){four legged cat} they are commonly seen on four legs and four legs only, they are the most cat-like as they retain the vessel of the original felius catus they are intelligent, knowing how to trap prey, knowing how to look after others and heal their wounds they have the ability to speak and to react to certain emotions in a mature way (depending on age) they are the same size as a border collie dog and are usually known to create burrows or be looked after and be protected by either their clan leaders or or Hito-gata no neko.

2. the middle lifeform, Kashikoi no neko (賢い猫){clever or intelligent cat} this cat is exactly like Yottsu-ashi no neko except they solely stand on two legs and are able to grab objects and walk around as if human. they can also communicate like a the yottsu- ashi but they have much wider dialect. they are usually known for adept craftsmanship and for their merchandising. they are usually hired by others who lack the skill to create clothes or weapons or even essentials that they need.

3. the highest and purest humanoid life-form, Hito-gata no neko (人型の猫){humanoid or people’s cat} This neko retains the perfect form of a human being with aspects of a cat, for example the thick masses of fur it carries and the ears, tail, eyes and paws. the Japanese engineers of this creature implanted both human and cat organs within it. in an easier way to put it, fused the DNA of both into an artificial set if organs and blood shared by both seperate species and combined it into a new organism. the first of the man made generation was NAt#A10000. Scientist Yuma Watanabe took a liking to NAt#A10000, and gave him an odd name. Nathan. she helped raise him, she gave him the most normal life she could before she was executed after trying to rebel against her higher ups and trying to remove Nathan from copious amounts of testing and experimentation on his body.

he was reformed and put back together multiple times, dissected to look for anomalies then reanimated as if nothing happened. he remembers all of it, all of the torture and what he went through because of them. he never knew how to feel or how to express how it felt. the main things about hito-gata is that they are the most intelligent and harbour more of the human characteristics than any of the other nekos. they are the most respected and the most trusted in society, under the gods, obviously.
