Linkim kinda pissed with the new editor in tomodachi life living the dream because in miitopia (switch, of course) you could do ANYTHING and you could select to edit the eyes, mouth or simply decorate the face, that way if you edited the eyes lets say, the mii would emote and the decorations from the eyes would adjust to it...
but in this tomodachi life, yes you can do anything as well, BUT its just like a mask, you cant select to decorate parts of the face, so basically anything you put its like giving the mii a mask, not a facial feature, and now its pixelated, in miitopia was normal... for example because i think i did a soup, my friend send me a pic of someone who did shadow in the tomodachi life editor, it looks good but the eyes and mouth are just there, cant move, in miitopia you could specify the things you put in the eyes and mouth to move when the mii emotes, so thats bascially a mask of shadow for your miis rather than having THE shadow

Linki wanted to do olivia from paper mario origami king, and i did, but since her eyes are rectangles i needed to edit those, so for miitopia i edited the eyes and placed rectangles over them but the eyes would still emote, so when she was surprised or something the rectangles would change into surprise eyes and that, now in this tomodachi life demo i did her eyes but they are literally on top of her eyes so now she cant show any emotion or blink or anything

Linkyou can tell i needed to let that out akjndqekjb sorry its just that i had lots of fun with the miitopia editor and i wanted to recreate my miitopia team to tomodachi life first before creating any other mii (which is olivia, an oc, zygarde 100 and count bleck) but now none of them will be able to move their faces aaaaa
I've never seen the makeup editing moving on Miitopia before is it a new update for the switch, or have I never paid that much attention?
I'm kinda excited to play the new Tomodachi Life since I missed the first one on the 3DS and it costs like 300 dollars to play it now
You could, lets say, add a red dot inside the eye of your mii in miitopia, you went first to “make up” and then select eyes and then you add the red dot, like that the mii would blink and the red dot would disappear, but in this new tomodachi life you add the same red dot but if the mii blinks, the dot would be visible still, like when you wear contact lenses of course if you close your eyes nobody can see you are wearing contact lenses, but it makes no sense if you close your eyes and said contact lent is floating in front of your eye
