I agree, but religion is a good coping mechanism created by society to combat the overwhelming sense of dread and existentialism that comes with self awareness, intelligence and knowledge. It gives us a sense of purpose and tries to give an explanation for our inexplicable existence. This is why don’t try to convince people that higher planes of existence aren’t real. People can believe in whatever they want. It’s actually beneficial to a person’s mental health to believe in a higher being. With that in mind, I urge you to please just let people believe in whatever they want.
