Ida was supposed to be a pure vessel before the hollow knight, but she somehow knew her fate and betrayed pale king before he could throw her into the abyss when she failed. She then escaped into the depths of the forgotten crossroads, never to be heard from or seen again. Some say that they have seen her fighting wandering husks in the darkest parts of deepnest, trying to build up her strength and increase her battling skills.
