the science of things and how they work, the way they evolved, the delicate balance and fragility, the sturdiness and toughness of it all

theres so much joy and whimsy and so many awesome things to learn and do. it makes me wonder why so many people lean towards hatred as a source of fun theres so much to this world, so many incredible things to find joy in or learn about just for the sake of knowing, and yet hatred is what gets attention

hell, we have tiny cats that vibrate when they are happy as pets. i think thats reason enough to look at the world and think 'yeah maybe this place is alright'

the governments can do all they want, make life as hard as possible, but that wont stop cool as **** animals from existing and thriving and us humans finding them and saying hey that animal is cool as **** and honestly thats a really reassuring thought

kurzgesagt is my og science youtuber ive watched them for a LONG time and id even say they are what sparked my interest in science (though plenty of kids shows i used to watch probably helped, octonauts included)

my dad helped too hes such a nerd and if im gonna give him any kudos itll def be for giving me his love for science we both show plenty of neurodivergent traits so that probably has something to do w it lmao

i cant convey the euphoria i get when it comes to science on here and that makes me sad but its ok bc just talking about it and the chance of someone reading it and getting similar euphoria from it is awesome enough

i know right !!!! its not even just science, its books too theres so many books ive read only bc they were assigned to me, but i LOVED them, and it makes me so so sad that the school system makes people hate reading or those specifc books bc of the way the system is Hatchet is a good example. i adore that book so much and ive read it again even after the time it was assigned to me im upset at the school system bc it ruined lots of the books i love for lots of people

yeah im very lucky to have had teachers who made reading fun early on, i also just rlly enjoyed reading in general thats not to say there havent been any books i was assigned that i DIDNT like, but usually i just didnt enjoy the genre or the book itself and not the fact i had to read it yk
