LinkThis is another fictional plant I’m designing.
It is warm to the touch naturally. It usually grows in dense forests, thrives in warmer temperatures, and some seem to grow better in slightly humid air. They grow in separate single flowers, just above the ground, with a very short and stubby stem. The petals are thick, not as flexible as other flowers, and will snap with enough force. Small fibers grow on the petals, making it seem fuzzy. It has no leaves.
It surprisingly has no effects when consumed naturally, but when mixed with other ingredients, it can have different effects, depending on what it is combined with.

LinkSmall amounts are often used in brewing potions regularly sold in colder areas, giving a warming sensation lasting for a half and hour up to 3 hours depending on how it is brewed and what with.
Some more dangerous potions also related to heat,(usually thrown or launched) are also often made with this plant. A common effect is a fire that starts as soon as the container breaks and the potion hits a surface, and is inextinguishable, lasting for specific amounts of time depending on the potion. Other common types of potions brewed with the flower may give the user a small amount of control over fire, letting them use it to their advantage, or giving them immunity to fire or other intense heat.

LinkThere are other uses in brewing, unrelated to heat but rare, one being a potion made to help with eating disorders, specifically anorexia. It increases a person's current appetite, and causes all other thoughts to be foggy, and harder to concentrate on, making the main focus eating, just food. It does not last long, and is not a largely known potion. Many of those who know of it do not believe in it’s effectiveness.

LinkAlso, the first recorded ‘love potion’ had this flower as a main ingredient. Although it is not confirmed effective in making others fall in love, and any determinable effects vary greatly with each brew, one consistent effect that people have described feeling was a sense of longing, usually for another person, but sometimes for something that people could not describe, as though it was unclear to themselves, or just a general sense of longing. Love potions are controversial in the alchemist community, and many disapprove of the use of them. Also, many supposed ‘love potions’ usually have more unwanted effects than one may be willing to go through to experience the desired effect.
