Well, I'd say something along the lines of "I'd rather build a stronger friendship before any kind of relationship"
It's still the easiest thing to do tbh.
It's worked for me everytime.
For example- as soon as I moved to a new school- this guy kept telling me he liked me and I just brushed it off with "I'd rather be friends before anything else"
it works really well
and keep in mind
i didnt even know the dude for a week
