Summarizing this in the best way I can- Colton is an offspring from one of my ships- He likes making movie references but doesn’t overdo it, he enjoys drawing, swords, Hawaiian pizza. He’s pretty fit but more on the thinner side. The dude picked up an interest in skateboarding in middle school. Oh right, he likes old music too. He’s a twin to his brother Hudson (my pal’s oc) but the more reserved one, he’s lived in his brother’s shadow mostly in high school but he didn’t hate it. He actually preferred it more than getting lots of attention.

In his childhood he didn’t have much of an opinion on the supernatural things besides thinking it was kinda cool, with age he grew to dislike it then despising it the more he connected the dots on why his family turned out the way it did. (family drama) Uh yeah- he doesn’t like talking about his brother (who left I think??) which is why he got the job as a night guard to avoid all that, his family are busy during the day but settle for dinner at night and they’re really cool- But- 👊 He doesn’t like when his father asks how he’s holding up tho- the dude understands he’s just worried about him so he doesn’t lash out or smthn like that.

Due to the fact that he hates magic and stuff like that, anyone he’s close to who uses it in any way he’ll instantly see them as just a normal human/creature. thinking like that was- unintentional but then he got worried he’d hate those people if his brain acknowledges the fact that they do what they do. He also avoids the nonhuman parts of himself. Yknow- the circular gem on his chest from his father and the things he’s inherited from his mother. Who may be a demon I believe, or at least has the abilities of one if I’m wrong I’m going off of memory.

Ngl broski would never leave his issues out in the open like this for the world to see, he enjoys always being positive and it’s no problem staying that way- he may rarely slip up on an accident and drop some hints that he needs help. though pushing him..- won’t go anywhere. ( ´ ▽ ` ) He’s stubborn as hecc but pushing him way too hard will make him cry and that’s -Best- case scenario.

But of course, he won’t be getting away that easily, someday & somehow (I’m still figuring it out.) he’ll get dragged back into the whole supernatural thing and be forced to use magic or be around it. He’ll eventually have to face his nonhuman side but for now he’s just working and getting enough money to move out. He’s a real mama’s boy so he’ll definitely hesitate to leave the house.

Personality? Just like his pops he’s a goof but only around close friends, strong willed like his mommi and can raise hell when he snaps, he’s rather quiet, gutsy when it counts, he’s kind but does come off as cold at times, observant, he’s also the type to just- go along with the situation. Fin. biggest issues to focus on with offspring characters: -It’s hard to not make offspring ocs exactly like their parents. (That might just be a me thing.) The design isn’t much of an issue but the personality is really when it comes in, I noticed it in Colton and had try and fix it. I’m still having quite the dilemma with it. -Remember to have both parents in mind when designing. Yeah- Almost never do and that’s a bad habit. Probably should work with spider on how to build the story to avoid character ideas clashing. Not sure when.

May change a few things in the future but shouldn’t be anything too major.
