YES Okay another family dinner? I’ve had an amazing idea for it where Jan just fvcking snaps at everyone. It’s goofy n silly and I love it please please please can we do that? (If not then that’s okay too!!)

OKAY let’s start!! Okay imma need you to start bc it’s ganna play out with void coming semi late, and stuff,Jane’s parents always come late But Jake jan and kev are already there at the table looking nice

It took a minute for someone to answer But eventually the door was opened slowly and anxiously, there stood Jan, he looked at void with relief and content “Welcome to hell, please take a seat.” Jane told void jokingly, opening the door revealing jake and kev sitting at the table

Jan shut the door behind him, putting his hand in his pockets at he sat down back at the table The table was positioned to wear jake was on one end, and Kevin was on other, on one of the longer side sat Jane, he was more sitting on the corner of the table next to jake, Jane would sat regularly on the other side where jake sat and it was planned that would of sat next to her, on the right, next to Kevin, On the other side of the longer side would of been their parents.

(((He is, but where he’s sitting is beside Jane next to Kevin, so he”s kinda in the middle of them? The table is a rectangle and I was trying to plan it all out. It would look like this: Jane Void Jake ◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️◼️ Kevin Jan JM JD Jm= Jane’s mom Jd= Jane’s dad )))

Kevin was on his phone, he had his usual custom sports team jacket on, though this time it was red, specially a burgundy red with a white “K” on it, he also wore some slightly baggy jeans and his traditional beanie was now red, and had pins on it, though he seemed to not really care about void, during important and fancy stuff kevin never acted out or was a jerk, for once he was genuinely being himself, a chill person who literally could not careless Sprinting down the stairs came Jane, she wore a beautiful yellow long sleeved blouse as well as light blue ripped pants that came up to her stomach and down to her ankles, the ends were tucked in neatly, she looked like a Disney quirky girl protagonist, she even had a yellow pocka-dot headband to match, and to top it all off, some really nice white jordans Jane was looking hella fresh She smelled nice too, she smelled like lemonade “AM I LATE ARE THEY HERE?!?!” She said panicked “Nah you’re alright.” Jan told her, trying to reassure her

“Awe! Thanks boo!!” She said at ease, going to sit next to him “You look dashing as ever!!” She complimented void She then looked over at kevin, oddly and slightly trying to show void that he actually wasn’t that bad, she spoke to him “Hey kev, how you doing?” She said happily “I’m alright” his tone was bored and bleak Kev looked up from his phone at her and genuinely smiled “Hey you look nice!! You look pretty good in yellow!” He complimented “Why thank you” she bowed jokingly He looked at void beside her “Oh and uh- you look pretty…” he was trying to find the right words without making him sound gay “Nice?” He said with an awkward smile

“Don’t sweat it!” His said chilled, and went back to being on his phone Jake fiddled with his tie, he was the only one who dressed formal Jan didn’t even try to dress nice, his hair was the only thing nice, he wore a lose white shirt and a pair of dark jeans, and socks “Hey, you think I should invite you know who next time?” Jake asked his siblings, he looked uncomfortable and nervous Jan shook his head, he looked like he felt bad all of a sudden Jane looked down, she seemed to have to, a little ashamed “it’s for the best you don’t…I don’t think mom and dad would-“ She was interrupted by a knock at the door Everyone went silent

They all looked at each other for a moment, then Jan got up being the brave soul he was and went to get the door And it was Jane’s momma and papa in the flesh Jane’s mom looked quite fancy She had a black leather jacket on and underneath a red spaghetti strapped dress, along with red heels, ruby red lipstick, and her traditional shades were on her face, and looked quite tall Almost as tall as Jake, which mind you, is 7’4” Next, or more of behind her, was her husband, Jane’s papa, he wore a casual tuxedo and a stripped tie, his attire was nice, but he himself looked uncomfortable in the clothes “Sweetheart!!!” she hugged Jan happily, which Jan couldn’t of cared less Jane’s dad didn’t say anything Everyone inside was quite and anxious, whenever Jane’s parents were involved something bad always happened

The two came in and took their seats across from void and Jane “How are the rest of my lovelies?” She said pulling up her shades, her expression was happy and joyful, like normal “Uhm- good?” Kevin said, trying to fill the awkwardness and silence “how are you Mrs. Hermit?” “Oh I’m quite fine dear!!” She told told Kevin Kevin gave her a forced smile, he was trying so hard not to mess up And with that Jane got up and clapped “Who wants dinner?” She said with a smile, finally breaking the tension Everyone seemed to want the meal

“Okay then come on!” She took his hand leading him into the kitchen with her Once they were alone she sighed of relief, she looked really stressed out, her hands shook and wobbled as she grabbed the containers of food

She looked at him, she was shaking, she shook her head no “Void….something terrible is going to happen, I can feel it…” She looked away from him and down as her hands “Something bad always happens…I had a really weird dream last night about today….” Her hands wobbled more

His comforting words and gestures calmed her as she took deep breaths, her hands stopped shaking and she seemed at ease “Thank you babe…I need that…” she said looking down with a soft smile “Come on! Let’s go serve up a nice warm meal!!” (Not me randomly remembering the time kevin almost killed void with a ham knife- bro I’m making a reference when I they get back)

Once they got back to the table they set up the food Kevin noticed the ham and the knife in it, he grabbed in and looked at void smuggly and jokingly “Oh boy does this bring back memories…” he looked at both void and jan Jan chuckled a little, the first time he seemed to smile this entire dinner Everyone else seemed slightly confused

Jane sat next to him “Did something happen?” She whispered to him, concerned Everyone else began to eat as Jessica (Jane’s mom, but I’m Typing JM , Jess, pr Jessica bc I’m tired of typing Jane’s mom/momma) Tried to hold up conversations No one really seemed to care or be interested, which ticked her off slowly as no one seemed to answer her It’s not that they didn’t care, well Jan didn’t, but it was because they were kinda scared of the tall angel lady who can kill them (Okay okay, the moment I’ve been dying for) “That’s it!!” She snapped, slamming her hands on the table and standing up “After all I do for you ungrateful spoiled children you can’t even have a conversation with you’re own mother!!” She said angerly “But I’m not your-“ “SHUT UP KEVIN” she snapped at Kevin, bro looked down and pouted

(I REMEMBER THAT!!!) “HEY!” Jan stood up annoyed “How are we the spoiled ones?!? You sit pretty every single day in your designer clothes slacking as if you did a DAMN thing to help out!! You left us here to struggle to make ends meat while YOU drank wine all day!!” He hollered “JANUARY THAT IS NO WAY TO SPEAK TO YOUR MOTHER!” Dan (Jane’s dad yelled at him) “Oh? So NOW she’s OUR mother? Last time I checked all she cared about was Jane living the good life while ME and JAKE sit here and rot!!” He yelled back Jane looked down, she felt bad “AND YOU AREN’T EVEN DOING IT TO BE NICE!! OR BECAUSE YOU’RE SORRY FOR RUINING THIS FAMILY MULTIPLE TIMES!! No. it’s BECAUSE, YOU wanted her to grow up under your control!! Just like you because you couldn’t even FATHOM Jane making decisions on her own!! Which I don’t blame you! I mean look at her!!” He stuck a hand out at Jane, branding her “She never grew up with a PROPER education!! Let alone grew up in a SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT!!” he continued

(I’ll tell you next tim dw dw) “I Mean, she married mr.problems over there!!” His hand moved to void “Which DOESN’T and DIDN’T help at all!! That just cause her more stress since she’s literally terrified of making others feel bad!! You tell her you’re upset and she starts cutting again!!” Everyone’s faces went to shock, as they looked from Jan to Jane Jane silently shook her head, her eyes wide and full of embarrassment and fear, she never told void about that “And you all wonder WHY she wears nothing but clothes that are too big for her!! But of course you would know!! Because you never cared too!!” His attention went back to his parents “I told you all from the start I was the better-“ “SHUT UP KEVIN!” Jan yelled at him, kev immediately went quite, looked down and pouted again “You literally have been harassing my sister since she moved back here!!” He yelled “Oh and what makes him better?” Kevin pointed at void

“OH SO NOW YOU WANNA SPEAK UP?” Jan yelled back, “and here I thought loudest you were was pounding my sister in the other room!” He crossed his arms “Void siren darkmoon you are no BETTER than that!” He pointed at Kevin “You may not try to fvck her every two seconds! But you really do a number on her mental health! After all, she’s in a relationship with a person with insane trama!! You wouldn’t BELIEVE what that does you know? You’re practically rubbing in her face that her problems aren’t even problems 24/7!!” Jan scoffed “AND YOU!” He yelled at jake, then stopped “well, I would have something to say about you IF YOU WERE HERE FOR ONCE!!!” “Hey, this family is stressful…Plus, mom and dad wouldn’t really like who I’m seeing….” He looked down awkwardly

(Nah you’re alr dw dw) “Are you done making a scene?” Dan asked Jan froze, his back towards his parents as she shook slightly “A scene? I’ll tell you a scene. A scene that changed everything.” He shook, and turned towards his parents furious “March 16th. Me and Jake were coming home from school after getting ice cream. We opened the front door, only to see your dead corpse swaying slightly. And mom’s dead body on the ground.” Everyone fell silent, Jane and Kevin seemed shocked, they didn’t know how Jane’s parents died. “It started with Jane, and you getting rid of her, to you getting rid of yourselves. You ruined my life at only 12 years old. How can you call yourselves parents when the only your kids are to you are accessories, things just to make you look good. BUT WE AREN’T EVEN GOOD! We’re the WORST family to ever exist and it’s your fault!!” He yelled, he started to burst into tears as his voice cracked, he never did cry, so this seemed like a first for him, he stormed upstairs.

“Man, I’m so glad I’m not apart of this family.” Kevin said not really thinking “SHUT UP KEVIN!” Everyone there told him, he pouted sadly again

Jane sat there rubbing her arm, Jan talking about her kinda made her feel bad, but that only fed her urges She did it at night quietly, the only way she knew about was because Kevin told her about it, but specifically told her not too, though, she doesn’t listen, and makes terrible decisions on her own Jane sighed, “I need some…fr-fresh air…” she said, getting up and heading up the stairs to her room Kevin got up “wait up I wanna smoke!!” He said following her Jake sat there at the table for moment then got up too, “I better go check up on him….you coming elf ears?” He motioned for void to come along

Jake walked upstairs and knocked on Jan’s door, the door was locked and soft sobs could be heard in his room Jane’s door was cracked open, cold air flew from there since the sky/sunroof thing was once open, jane had this clear hatch above her bed that lead to the roof, it was presumed she was there with kev

"GO THE-" his voice cracked, you could practically hear the tears rolling down his face "The- the fvck away..." he continued to cry "Jan.... Jan it's okay-" "NO IT'S NOT" Jan whined "It- it never is!! There's never a single day where everyone can just get along!" Jan seemed to be taking this really hard Meanwhile on the roof It was quiet Kevin was puffing smoke in the cold air, Jane was just sitting there looking down holding her knees to her chest "So..." Kevin broke the silence "Why'd you...do it?" He looked at her covered arms Jane didn't say anything, she looked down "Jane...I told you not to. I specifically told you not to...why would you?-" "I don't know." Her tone sounded hurt and somewhat confused "I don't know. I just- I thought-it would help- and it did!!" He didn't say anything "Jan...the elf guy's right." Jake didn't know void's name "January we want to help no matter what." Jan still didn't say anything for a while "Tell them to leave." Jan broke the silence "Actually no. I don't want you guys to tell them" his voice grew louder, as if he was approaching the door, it seemed like his tears slowed "So you're going to?" Jake said backing away from the door "No." Jan opened the door "If we really want all the drama and problems to stop we have to get it by the source, and to stop it for good once and for all we need The right tool...or in this case person." Jan told them "I need you to go get Jane to tell them to leave. Leave and never come back." Jan finalized "But she wouldn't-" "Yeah I know" Jan cut Jake off "But I know out of all the people she's listen to it's ganna be you space for a name." He looked at void

"trust me, she could never get mad at you-" he started giggling for a second "It was pretty much every single day that she'd bug me talking about how ✨ special ✨ and ✨ handsome ✨ and ✨great✨ you are while I played video games-" Jan said light heartedly "But trust me, This pretty much the only way, I mean, she won't talk to me after I pretty much exposed everyone, she won't talk to Jake since we'll..." "Yeah I know-" Jake nodded, he wasn't exactly there long enough to really have a connection with Jane "Kevin's an awful choice- I mean, come on he's Kevin." He shrugged "You're pretty much our only chance void." Jan told him with a straight face "Can you do it?"

"alright. You go champ. Do it for us. And if not us, for her, trust me this'll help her Alot." Jan told void, patting him on the back

It wasn't. Kevin was pretty much screaming at Jane like he was like this father figure Jane still felt like absolute crap "Welp, just walk in on em, I mean, we've all done it-" Jan shrugged

Kevin stopped Getting up and leaving down through the sky window thing He didn't want to be a hastle Jane sat there, her chest against her knees again

"hey voido" she said with a sigh, looking down

"not good." She sighed "Void? What's wrong with me?" She said looking at him "Everything I do is wrong and makes people upset with me...what did I do wrong?"

"yeah...I guess? It's just-" She paused "I'm so sick of everyone hating me. I try my best to not be a burden and make others happy, but it's never enough! Maybe I'm not trying hard enough-" she began to vent to him

"well, Jan... he's always telling me to leave him alone so naturally I kinda just let him be, and and Kevin only likes me when I do what he says most of the time, they're not that bad, at least when you do what they want, but...I don't know- Then there's mom, dad, and somewhat Jake, I don't think he really likes me that much, but he didn't really get to bond and get to know me at all-" Jane shrugged, brushing some hair out of her face

"I guess? But they're my parents!! It's not like I can just tell them to leave and never come back!!" She said light heartedly, and awkward smile on her face She seemed to be joking

"well, of course you'd never ask me that! That's silly! I do think we might wanna stop the dinners though..." She looked up, the sky was empty, the stars weren't out, the moon was a quarter moon but it's light seemed dim

Their moment was interrupted by Jan opening the hatch "Hey voido did she say yes yet?" Jane turned around "What?" "Void you didn't tell her to tell mom and dad to go yet??" Jan said confused "You what?!?" Jane said scooting away from the both of them

"so you're telling me the only reason you came up here is to get me to do something you don't want me to do?!?!" Jane said getting up, she looked upset Jan gulped realizing his mistake "Arg-" she grumbled grabbing her hair "You're- YOU'RE JUST LIKE THEM, ALL OF THEM!! you all just want me to do what YOU all want me to do!! WHY WON'T YOU LET ME BE MY OWN PERSON FOR ONCE!! I'm 20 YEARS OLD FOR CHRIST SAKE!!"

"I'M SO SICK OF ALL OF YOU!!" She said her eyes becoming teary "What did I do wrong?!?! What am I doing wrong to make you want to control everything I do?!?! I don't get it!!" She pretty much was panicking, having an existential crisis, she was not okay.

"I was only trying to help! I- no. Jane, listen to me." His words caught her attention she stayed quiet "Jane harmonica, you have to tell mom and dad this. You have tell them to leave, to get off your back. You're the only person who they'll thoughtfully listen to." "But but but-" "Jane!! They aren't even our parents!! The mom and dad you remember no longer exist and are never coming back. Jane, they don't even care about is anymore as long as THEY look good in the process..." He finished Jane's sadness turned into conflict, and soon agreement. "I guess, you're right."

"I'm... sorry for yelling at you hun..."she told void sadly as she left the roof making her way downstairs
