It was a normal weekend before it hit me. I was going home on one Saturday, everything felt normal as I took off my work clothes and got in something comfortable. I cooked something to eat and something ached me, I don't know what the feeling was but I felt as I was in danger. I finished what I was eating and brushed my teeth, getting ready to go to sleep, honest to myself I knew I wouldn't go to sleep, I got on my tv to turn on my console, I got on and no one was online, it was absolutely dead, me and my friends got this game and we thought no harm no foul. My first friend played that game and he ended up missing, and everyone else I know went missing but I decided to be stupid and play it aswell, no way a game could be the cause of missing people, I thought. As I was putting in the disc, I felt a shiver run down my body as the game loaded in... It seemed to be more of a video as a person walks up on screen. "Hello new player! How ya doin'?" I tried to click on something but it seemed that the game was

actually talking to me. I said hello hesitantly as the character clapped joyously around the screen, it was shocking that they could hear me, its voice squeaky and childish, as it gave me weirder and weirder questions, it said in a normal, and more adult voice. "I know where you are." I was shocked of what the character had said, its face changing from a cartoon to fading into a Real person. They smiled creepily as the twiddled their thumbs and hummed, waiting for me to respond again. I said "Impossible.." It smiled wider, inhuman like, "Improbable, I mean come on, if I didn't know where you lived you wouldn't hear-" Three blood-curdling taps on my front door had erupted on my house. I stared at the character and it was gone, my screen blank and the faintest music coming from the tv. Mysterious humming had came from the door, as I came towards the door with a knife, I didn't know what had happened, but it couldn't possibly be happening. I opened the door and went for a full few jabs to the head, pushing-

the body over until I realized it was my friends, staring at me and the body of my other friend on the floor, the head wide open and bleeding out of the floor, I forgot it was my birthday through-out all the horror of this demon creature abrupting on my screen. I watched as my friends ran from my house and called the police, I stood there, shockingly looking at the cold dead body on my kitchen floor, as I looked at the shiny floor, I see that glorified character that made me murder my friend, and I quickly got rid of that game as soon as I could. I never got on another console game again.
