Why do we have school?

The original intention of school was to teach kids how to read so they don't kill themselves in factories
We don't need science for our everyday lives, nor do we need to know about most of math, and we don't need to read books either since we have internet, and learning for me is a waste of 7 hours.
Idk why we have it, school isn't really that important imo
Also I don't give a jumping damn if I'm stupid or not, many other things are more interesting than school.
This opinion is so ratass that you will get beat harder than police beating black people
