I honestly can't remember how many frames this took. At most, probably one hundred. I know that it took me three days to complete, though. ^_^

I don't want to disappoint you, but whenever I try to do projects for others with different materials, I always lose the inspiration and never finish. So, I just don't do so anymore because I don't want to disappoint people after getting their hopes up. I hope this doesn't upset you. Sorry...

Three days........three days it took to complete this. I honestly wanted to do more, but I'm too tired. It being 3:00 A.M, I'm ready for bed. XD
Even though animating this was quite tedious, I'm so thankful that I did it. In a way, I suppose I wanted to prove my devotion to Citrus, and in doing so, I created something I'm incredibly proud of.
Besides, this episode (EP 2) was so visually spectacular and emotional that I just couldn't resist animating it.
Welp. I'll stop rambling. If you haven't yet, WATCH THE ANIME! It's pure perfection. <3

Citrus is a yuri anime love story. It started of as a manga. It got so popular that it got turned into an anime tv series. the books and tv show are REALLY good, i highly recommend it.

Citrus has pseudo-incest, which means that it's love between two siblings who are not blood related. Yuzu and Mei are only related due to the marriage of their parents.

Practice, practice, and more practice. I think it would also help to study up on anime anatomy. That's normally where my issues lie and why I, for the most part, need references to follow.

I followed each frame of the anime and just drew it using the frames as reference. I'm happy with it, but it really isn't that special. The anime is what is truly special. ^_^

While logged in and on your profile page, check your animations. There should be an option above all of them reading "Set as avatar". Pick the animation that you'd like to make your profile image, and select the option. That should work. ^_^

Your friends may just be thinking of it in a technical sense, if you're referring to your sexuality, that is. You say you're 50% lesbian; some would say that is being bisexual rather than being a lesbian since the other 50% would usually be dedicated to the opposite sex. However, that isn't always the case. I personally prefer women and have never really seen myself with a man. However, I can feel attraction for men, so I say that I am bisexual. The only way I can see myself with a man is if we connect perfectly, which will likely never happen. With women, I am comfortable and happy even if we are different, thus one reason why I prefer them. However, that is just me. You may be different; all I'm saying is that your friends may have misunderstood. Maybe they are supportive but lack some LGBT knowledge. I can't say for certain, though.

It isn't that difficult. Each frame is simply made darker for a fade or lighter for a flash.
