Yeah for me what makes her so relatable is her situation She was made to comfort pink Diamond she thrives on social attention it’s what made her happy just like me Pink Diamond however wasn’t responsible enough to take care of her and decided to abandon her instead which relates well with my mother and her situation Pink was in general a big child that never grew up and ****ed up many people because of it

Growing jealous- Spinel hated the idea that she was abandoned and replaced with someone else she came to home world just to kill Steven and the other crystal gems What made them so special and worth leaving her for It was the exact feelings I grew when my mom favoritized my sister for so long while neglecting me However I never killed anyone or anything like that

I had to learn how to love myself and talk to myself as comfort because I wasn’t raised with support as a child It’s very unfortunate but there’s nothing I can do to change that now What I am thankful for is that now I can comfort my sister the way my mom never could and be a support figure for her
