all three of the movies i watched tonight really resonated with me in different ways and about different (but very intertwined) parts of my life

ginger snaps 2 is about a teen girl rejecting her lycanthropy (which is treated like puberty), girl interrupted is about a lot of things that i dont know how to put into words right now. about what it means to be crazy and choosing to get better or get worse maybe. and donnie darko. i dont know. but the inevitable was a theme there. i know theres definitely some deeper meaning but i at least resonate with the surface inevitability of an impending and upcoming death

basically what im saying is i feel like a werewolf turning against it's will and when faced with the decision of whether to get better or get worse i cant decide because i know no matter what i will inevitably die to my own hands no matter what i do
