the taxonomy of a snail goes as follows: domain - eukarya (meaning their cells have nuclei & membrane bound organelles) kingdom - animalia (meaning they are heterotrophic, reproduce sexually, and are multicellular) phylum - mollusca (meaning they are soft bodied invertebrates without segments that may or may not be encased in a shell order - gastropoda (meaning "stomach-foot". their stomachs& other organs are positioned above their muscular foot) fun fact: octopi, clams, squid, snails, slugs, nudibranches & cuttlefish are all molluscs, but octopi, clams, squid, and cuttlefish are all eliminated when it comes to gastropods because their organs are NOT above a single muscular foot

snails have an organ in their mouths called w radula that they use to rasp into food. anatomy wise it's like a tongue covered in about 14,000 little teeth!!!!! they canot bite. too little
