take lots of notes (even if you understand most teachers will allow you to use notes on quizzes and sometimes maybe even tests, turn everything in on time or before the due date (some teacehrs will overide grades to fs till you turn in an assignment) , always go for the extra credit when it's offerred (it will give you a little boost if you get a bad grad on something)
also in the hallways stay closest to the wall people will trample you if your in the middle of the hallway also it's easir to see the door numbers when looking for your classes :]
