LinkYou were passing through the street when you saw a big crowd surrounding something you push through and you see some street kid passed out on the ground

Karma: -she peeked through the crowd, now..she wasn’t a doctor, but she was familiar with patching herself up, pushing through the crowd and looking at the familiar stranger-
Max:COME ON YOU RAN HIM OVER
Rich guy:what no he jumped in front of me
Max:YOU STILL RAN HIM OVER WE NEED a DOCTOR it's only 3 cents!
Rich guy:3 CENTS that's too much
*the towns people start yelling at the guy*
Karma: -she cupped stones cheeks with her hands and then squeezed them, looking down at him annoyed and speaking soft enough so others wouldn’t hear- “Y-You idiot…t-this isn’t g-gonna work-“
Stone:*he immediately recognized the voice but stayed limp*
Max:ok I'll take tha-
*suddenly another person walks up to Stone he wad definitely older*excuse me young lady may i?
Karma: -she made a little bit of a ‘humph’ noise, crossing her arms and stepping away- “H-Have at it”
*the man straight up stomps on stones chest immediately making him jerk up wheezing max trys to eat the coin but the man pulls it out of his mouth*
Gentleman:are these people bothering sir
Rich guy:what do you mean
Gentleman:they tried to pull this on me too
Stone:*still wheezing and coughing*
Karma: -she flinched a bit, leaning back down and sitting him up so he could breathe better- “S-Stone! H-Hey hey j-just breathe okay?”
Stone:*he still is coughing and wheezing*
Max:uh oh
Gentleman:they tried to con you sir
Rich guy:oh how dare you!
Karma: -she held stone close to her chest and rubbed his head- “T-This con w-will be the least of y-your problems I-if you two don’t leave. Now.”
Stone:*it took him a little bit to breath he looked around realizing the con fell he jumped up grabbed Karmas hand and max jumped on stones back and they all ran as the crow ran after than like a witch Hunt*
Karma: -she yelped softly as she was pulled up and away, looking at him as he pulled her away, her heart racing with excitement-
Stone:*he had his normal calm face running faster than the crowd he was able to get into his tiny hideout and he cover the opening with a blanket and the the crowd pasted by only then did he breath a sigh of relief as max sat on the couch in the middle of the strange hideout*
Karma: -she panted heavily, looking up at stone before squeezing his hand and resting her head on his chest- “G-Geez..t-that was..”
Stone:*he ruffles hers hair I a sibling like way*ehh happens all the time
Karma: -she purred softly, leaning into his touch and huffing- “Y-You’re st-still an idiot..”
Stone:*he leans his head against the wall*phew heh heard that a lot
Karma: -she pouts softly and grabbed his face, forcing him to look down at her- “Don’t. Do it a-again, understand?”
Karma: -she huffed and let him go, walking over to say hi to max- “Y-You too-!”
Max:*he makes cute puppy noises while stone drinks on the couch now*
Karma: -her tail wagged a bit at his noises, an instinct response that put her in a playful mood- “Awwwww”
Max:*his ears perks up*stone I hear someone comeing
Stone:*he pulls out a knife*
Karma: -she held max close, protectively, pin pointing the noise and following it with her eyes-
*it was comeing towards the entrance stone readying his knife moved the blanket back and it WAS a dog*
Stone:oh um*he puts his knife back in his pocket*
Karma: -she uh..she was scared of actual dogs, max was fine but literal dogs scared her, so she hid behind stone- “M-Make I-it go away-“
Stone:*he tried to shoo it but it just stood there then it turned into a person and he jumped back because it looked like this guy wanted to fight*
Karma: -she whimpered softly, shutting her eyes and trembling, she knew someone who did that and..he wasn’t very nice, traumatized bean held max close like a stuffed animal-
Max:*growled at the person so they won't get near*
Stone:*he pulls his knife back out but not quickly enough the person pins Stone down by his neck and growls*get off of ME*his hair turns blue and his eyes go white he kicks the person off with huge force*
Karma: -she quickly let go of max, yelping at the noise and covering her fluffy ears, trying to calm herself down was a fail-
Pebble:really asshole your scarring the lady*you recognize that snarky tone as Pebble stones ghost friend the dog guy growls*
???:I'm here for max
Karma: -she whimpered, looking at max with teary eyes before looking back at the rando, keeping her head low-
Stone:*he walks over to karma for a little lifts her hand kisses it in a gentle way*bow excuse me I must deal with an asshole*he picks the person up and kicks them in the balls*why must you have our friend
Karma: -she forced a weak smile as her pounding heart slowed, flinching at the sound-
Pebble:come on buddy you can talk or do you want me to hit you in the cake instead

Pebble:oh in that case*he punts him and bows dramatically like he was on a stage*

Karma: -she looks up at stone and whimpered, her lip trembling- “I-I..I’m scared..”
Pebble:*he gives stone control again and he goes back to normal*
Stone:hey hey he's gone now
Karma: -she quickly hugged him, her body still shaking- “Y-You’re o-ok-okay right?”
Stone:yeah I'm ok I only throw up sometimes when Pebble does that*he hugs back*
Karma: -she pet his head, looking at him concerned- “I-I’m s-so sorry I- I was scared..I-I would’ve helped..”
Stone:hey its ok Pebble dealt with him your ok I'm ok everyone's ok right max
Max:yep!
Karma: -she slowly nodded, looking down at max before taking him close and hugging him- “I-I’m ha-happy you’re s-safe too”
Stone:*still out*

Gentlemen:*he doesn't seem to care*these people are con people they tried to scam you sir those two did it to me earlier

Zen: -she sighed- "there are nicer ways to deal with scams" -she glared- "don't waste my time."
Stone:*he comes to his senses he stands up then max jumps on his back he grabs her hand and books it as the towns people chase after you guys*
Stone:*he runs into his hide out and covers the the opening with and blanket when the people pass he sighs*well that failed*you noticed he had a bit of an Irish accent*
Stone:not unless you wanna be in jail they think you helped with that con*he sits on the couch with max and drinks*
Stone:not in this godforsaken town just crash until it's night and I'll sneak you out
Stone:*he pets max*alright got any other ideas for a con
Max:hmmmmm maybe I could distract a store owner while you take things*which was surpiseing for this young boy who was like 7 was helping this con man con people and steal*
Max:*he jumps up excitedly his puppy tail wagging*were scammers,con men,thieves but our names our STONE AND MAX heheheh
Stone:yep*he takes a sip*
Max:*he barks*heheh you want s stolen bannan tastes better than a bought one*he walks up to you standing on his tippy toes to try and reach you and holds the yellow bannan*
Stone:alright zen once it's night time we can sneak you out of time
Stone:*he peeks his head out then is comes back in*like 12 are you hungry?
Stone:*he walks over to the small ass fridge and pulls out some eggs*that's all we got right now*he starts cooking Takeing off his jacket when you see his arms they are very thin he looks like he hadn't eaten in years*
Stone:oh I have very high metabolism so I stay thin even if I eat something but that would nice alright here*he hands you a plate of scrambled eggs*
