Pretzel yawned and shook his body from his small nap. The afternoon sun was warm and spoke of summer.
Flippy is perched on a tree, their tail wagging up and down violently.
Pretzel smiled at them," Hey Flippy! What are you up too?" He asked with a smile.
Flippy looks down at Pretzel, their mouth opening slightly but words escape them. Taking a gulp Flippy piped, "No very much, how about you?"
Pretzel sat up and looked around," I was going to go for a fly but I made a deal with some elves that I'll make some Pretzels for them." He laughed and spread his speckled wings.
Flippy giggled and smiled then said, " Well that is a pretty interesting deal there, Pretzel!" Flippy scanned the tree and hoped onto a lower branch.
" Well I did try to steal some of their gold but they said they wouldn't take me hostage if they could have some pretzels. Fair deal I say!!" He let out a sigh remembering the event.
Flippy slides off the branch and lands in front of Pretzel. They said, "I could have busted them up!" Flippy's wings unfolded pointing to the sky, they got like this when they were excited.
Pretzel laughs nervously," No its okay... you know I want to open up a bakery one day..." He stares off into space thinking about it.
Flippy looks into at Pretzel and breaks his fantasy by saying, " I know... I know.." Flippy turns and looks at the roots of the tree.
" Well I have a new cake idea, maybe you can try it later?" He asked happily.
Flippy looks over their shoulder and exclaims, " I would love to!"
((Oof))
Flippy sighs, " I guess." They turn and look Pretzel in his eyes. " I was... thinking, about my future. I don't know what it will hold for me..."
Pretzel sat down on the grass," What do you mean? The future is pretty far away, why worry about it now?"
"Well you understand what you want to be and... I don't." Flippy sighs and sits in the grass, like Pretzel did.

Pretzel nodded," I understand, were still young though. You just have to find your secret talent! Like wood carving, or trick flying or more!" He jumped up and grabbed a bag near by," I have to hurry! See you later Flippy!" And he took to the sky's.

Filippy jumped onto the higher up branches and curled up and slept.
Pretzel flew to a small stone building that was his mini bakery for now and started to prep things for the elves. And also made a brand new cake with chocolate and plums. Pretzels best is what he called it.
He set the cake aside just as the bell telling him someone was here rung. Two elves one male the other female sat down at the counter," Hey Pretzel! Got any fresh edible pretzels for us?" The girl asked.
" You know it Brook! " And gave them their prezels to go.
Flippy was awoken with a loud snapping noise. Their head tried to raise but found they were bound by thick ropes and vines.
As they left Pretzel wrapped up the cake and flew it back over to where Flippy slept," Flippy!! I have that cake for you!"
They found that they had the branch snap under them and then got tied down.
Flippy's eyes looked at Pretzel and their body was suddenly dragged into the woods.
Pretzel sat and waited," Helloooooooooo? Flippy?" He set down the cake and right as he spread his wings there was a whistle and something pinched Pretzels throat. He had just enough time to see it was a dart before he passed out.
Flippy woke in a caged in room, no longer bound by vines and rope.
Pretzel woke as well, in a cage not to far from Flippy's," Flippy? Is that you??"
Flippy looked slightly bruised and their scales slightly broken.
" Why are WE here? where even is HERE??" He failed his wings paniced.
" I don't, I don't know! We need to calm down!" They looked around, trying to find a way out.
((Idk who captured them, but I'm thinking))
Flippy bites the mossy bars violently, getting flustered.
Flippy is enraged that someone made Pretzel cry and they start screaming.
