Being needy has nothing to do with your mothers death. Every child is needy, especially towards their parents. You shouldn't blame yourself for her death just because you were needy

I understand. I really do. I've lost people before. Except those were *completely* my fault. However, your mother chose to do something dangerous even though she could've chosen other routes to take care of you. As I said in the image, I'm bad at helping, so this probably isn't helping at all.
