Orchid’s heart raced as she sprinted evenly with the cats. The reached the river quickly , though it was further from the battle, out of sight to have the element of surprise. Orchid watched the first group expertly swim over and she refrained from jumping into the cold water. She stood still as the second group went, thinking. Reedstar glanced at her in half confusion, half understand and nodded before slipping into the water to swim across. Orchid nodded to herself then backed away from the river. Cats stared in confusion as she stretched her legs and narrowed her eyes. Suddenly she raced towards the water, her paws a blur as she neared the cold dark water. Her shoulders bunched as she unsheathed her long curled claws and dug them sharply into the pebble shore, halting her dash. The tips of her paws touched the cold water and she leaped, feeling herself soar through the air and over the water. She didn’t miss the looks of shocks on the river clan cats faces as she flew over their heads and landed in front

of them. I love doing that! She purred to herself. The cats recovered from their shock and continued to head towards sunning rocks , no Orchid near the front of Reedstar’s patrol. Soon she could hear the sounds of battle up ahead, her sharp ears catching the sounds before the others. They soon reached the clearing where Thunderclan and Riverclan were fighting. Orchid narrowed her eyes at the thunderclan cats, they seemed…familiar. Her heart thudded loudly in her chest as she could barely refrain from unseathing her claws. They were the cats who attacked She and Sun. They were the cats who weakened them against the fox. They were the ones who caused Sun to br in such a critical condition. Her eyes grew wide, her pupils sharp slits as she recognized the black tabby and grey Tom in the crowd. It was Them.

Suddenly the edges of her vision blurred with red and white. All other cats seemed to disappear except those two who fought back to back, their Blue eyes glistening excitedly with eagerness to battle. The bloodlust Orchid knew radiated from her body was overpowering and she could somehow sense the Riverclan cats backing away nervously. She knew she wasn’t thinking properly and her body began to move on its own. She was so ready to rip the cats throats out when she suddenly felt a weight on her back and crumbled to the ground. She snarled angrily at the cat who had pinned her and immediately stopped as she saw GhostStorm above her.

“So I was right about you" They murmured. Orchid looked confused for a few moments and then realized that GhostStorm was looking at her legs. Once she looked she instantly knew. Dark green thorn vines wrapped around her fore arms, the large thorns on the edge of piercing her skin. Along with the thorns were bright white roses that pelted her legs and some spots of her body. Her heart raced in confusion and shock as she stared at the unusual features. This had happened before.
