Well, he lives in an old house in the middle of the forest that was once burnt down but his father rebuilt it and went missing a few days after so ashes lives alone. He often gets attacked by wolves, he barely gets any sleep, and he often gets scars and bleeds for days but he's somehow still alive, so he's kinda half dead and half zombie both metaphorically. Barrette mostly takes care of him though.
