raie: hmm.... well it takes around an hour and a half to get here and my mom starts cooking at about 5:00..... it's around 3:00 i wanna say..... we've got time ^^

“ let’s go home. I don’t feel safe-“ he whispered.
“ why not?” A malicious voice cooed from behind the couple

raie: *he turned his head to look at void but he moved his eyes to look at the voice behind the two*
There seemed to be no one there except bushes and a tree, and a brick wall
Void quickly stood up.
“Home? When you know someone is right behind you?” The voice asked, amused

Raie: *he sighed a bit as he turned his head and looked around* well I hope they're gone for the day, at least......
Void nodded. “Me too- do you want to get something on our way home to hope he looses us?
Raie: How about..... We go to the grocery store to get some groceries for my mom? Or for ourselves.... Doesn't really matter

Raie: *went to the checkout and bought the things he got* lets get going home now.... I think we've lost him completely.....
Raie: *holding a couple bags in one hand* I can carry those if you'd like me to ^^
“I got it-“ he said determinedly- puffing out his chest to get the weight better
Raie: *when they made it to the car he opened the trunk and put in the bags he was holding*
Raie: *smiled shutting the trunk door then got in the driver's seat, buckling up*
He squeezed his hand gently. “I’m going to get in nicer clothes
raie: ok! i should too..... considering it is my mother we're visiting
raie: *he was wearing his regular white collared shirt and black dress pants*

-as they walked into town, a couple of familiar faces could be seen.... Ryan and Diane-
-the two walked over-
diane: hello, void! *looked at his hand, her eyes widening*
daine: *he voice raised a bit in shock* on your hand! is that a RING?!
diane: *she smiled, bringing them both in for a hug*
raie: *he blushed a bit but smiled slightly*
raie: *he chuckled softly a bit flustered*
ryan: *looked at diane* you're gonna suffocate them! calm down *gave her a slight glare*

Ryan: Alright..... Lemme get these details straight while Diane cries her eyes out....... You two've been dating for a long time now.... And raie just proposed, I wanna say, around a couple weeks ago?

-they walked into a house that doubled as a store... A woman the same height as Ryan, with brown hair, was sitting at a desk, working on something-

“I’m void-“ he smiled, offering his hand to shake- the one with the ring
daliah: *she practically ran up, then looked at void's hand before grabbing it with both hands and shaking it* i've heard lots about you! i'm Daliah! raie's mother ^^
raie: *chuckled softly*
He giggled softly. “It’s a pleasure to meet you! I’ve heard so many good things about you-“ he said with a smile
daliah: *she smiled sweetly after letting his hand go* thats a pleasure! have you been taking good care of him? *she looked at raie with a smile*
Void nodded. “I have tried to. He’s amazing. “ void smiled at raie
raie: *he chuckled softly, a bit nervous being on the spot*
daliah: thats great to hear! *looked at void then turned to raie and gave him a tight hug* it's so great to see you again, sweetie

daliah: *let him go and put her hands on his shoulders* 3 years and you haven't changed it feels like.....

“Well- Where was my invitation?” The voice from earlier asked from behind
daliah: *she was about to speak when she looked behind the two and her tears of joy disappeared fast*
raie: *he looked frightened*
The man stepped forward lowering his hood. He had stunning amber eyes and black hair that swooped to the side. On his nose was a pair of gold frames glasses. His skin was the same color as voids. He smiled cruelly “After all- family should meet family

Void was pale and froze, scared
Raie didn't dare look behind himself.... He was to shocked.... "oh.... Well I don't believe you've got the best relationship with your son...." Dalilah spoke in a slightly harsh tone, seeing how afraid void was
He laughed. “Oh no. No- I was in prison most of his life. Isn’t that right?” He teased- tugging at voids ear. Void scampered awsy, shaking
"well..... You clearly did something to brutality ruin the bond, even if he was to young to remember anything" Dalilah sounded stern, seemingly angry.... Raie went up to void to comfort him
He chuckled more. “Oh- he remembers. I wasn’t arrested until he was six. “ he yawned. “He remembers. Look at his expression. “
Void was shaking violently, sobbing
daliah grumbled angrily as she glared at him..... raie was hugging void, trying to comfort him, whispering things like 'it'll be okay' and other things to try and get void to void to calm down

"i wouldn't say that about a child you barely know..... regardless of status you weren't even really in his life.... what do you have to speak of?" she tried her hardest to keep a nice smile

He clicked his tongue. “What’s for dinner?” He asked- ignoring her question.
Void kept crying mumbling. Why is he here. “ he mumurred over and over again
"oh-! nothing you'd like.... i'd take a guess at least....." she smirked slyly, making a clear threat, her amber eyes narrowing
raie kept trying to calm him down
He laughed coldly, walking up to her. “I said. What is for dinner. Not whether you think I’d like it or not. “

raie kissed void's head again, still rubbing his back
“I should have been” he took a step closer.
He took a shaky breath
"i don't believe you should've....." she kept a stern gaze on him
"lets go to another room...." raie spoke softly
"not if his family hates him, or if he hates his family...." she just kept glaring at him
"c'mon.... i know the perfect place" raie held void's hand

Void nodded, going with him,
"hm.... well i'm Daliah Burlinte..... Raie's mother..... so you're an escaped prisoner..."
raie led void to an old room
"well.... do anything wrong.... slip-up at all..... and the police will be one their way" she smiled, still glaring at him
raie sat down on the bed in his old bedroom and cuddled void
“I wouldn’t call if I were you” he said threateningly, taking a gun out of his belt.
Void cuddled him, calming down out of salvo’s pressure and solely in raies
Daliah looked at the gun calmly, ever so slightly worried "you wouldn't do anything to make your son sad, now, would you....?"
raie snuggled with void, trying to calm him down still
she looked at him again, still calm "then do it...... shoot me..... unprovoked"
raie still just cuddled him and kissed void's head

she glared at salvo, not knowing what to say.... raie walked over to the kitchen slowly

a little while later raie came back holding a knife and he stabbed salvo's arm
raie pulled out the knife, quickly dropping down to help void and see if he was even still awake
he began to cry a little but he tried to pick him up and bring him to raie's old bedroom anyway.... a small while later ryan came back with another person
ryan pushed diane out of the way and looked into the living room with wide eyes..... "but..... he was.... huh?!" ryan had a hard time saying what she knew she saw as she looked at her father
He was having a hard time to catch his breath. He teared up- panicked
"hey, you two" raie looked at ryan and diane and they looked at him, "help me move him to the other room!" raie sounded angry, yet determined.... the two nodded and helped pick void up
the three of them propped him sitting up on the bed in Raie's old bedroom
he looked at the blankets on the bed with a sad expression "but..... i couldn't stop him from.... from almost killing you...."
he was a little louder and this time his words could be heard, "i'm sorry i'm so useless...."
“You’re not- “ he whispered, stroking his hair. “You’re not at all
“How many times have you saved me? If anything I’m the useless one-“ he said- his voice raspy
"but....." he sighed again "those are just instincts..... i feel the need to keep anyone close safe.... or else i'll lose them"
he whimpered a bit, clearly sad and upset "robin....." his voice was still quiet
"i miss her... even though she never really cared....." he began to cry a little as he hugged void, still speaking quietly
"now my mom will probably be in a wheelchair....." his voice was shaky
He teared up. “I’m so so sorry- if I didn’t-“ he cried. “If I didn’t come everything would be okay. Itd be better if I was gone.

“Yes it is!” His voice cracked. “If I hadn’t freaked out- if I hadn’t - If he wasn’t my father- if I actually did something!” He choked
"void! calm down... please! you didn't know what to do! and that's just fine...." his voice raised a bit as he grew a little bit worried for him
Void gasped for breath, a hand on his chest, tears rolling down his face
“That is not your fault. He’s run away from the law countless times…. I should’ve known it was him at the park.
"i honestly couldn't tell my mother from my sister if either of them were covering their face..... but you were in a panic and you couldn't process..."
“That’s no excuse!” He teared up. “Because of me your mom got shot!
"i just wanted you to stay mentally safe..... it's a god damn miracle that she isn't dead...." he sighed, tearing up
