I really thought this was gonna be the great ending.. but that smirk ending just made me more miserable and anxious than i already was, making me feel even more bad for her... like why cant Kris feel remorse, the fact that THEY are AWARE OF THE FACT THEY ARE MAKING SPRINKLE LOOK BAD, BUT STILL DOES NOT CARE AND JUST BETRAYED HER AND LIED, BUT AT WHAT COST? I absolutely understand your concern here, I'd like to explain why the grin was added::,,,, so like Kris knew they were in the wrong from the start and had always known that sprinkle was annoyed and miserable by being called an owl. the thing is, Kris's character is more on the non empathetic side and really doesn't care how others feel unless it causes conflict among themselves. (yea pretty selfish 😨) However, Kris apologized because somebody told them to and now the whole group knows not to call her an owl again. the grin as the end displays Kris's refusal to admit to being in the wrong while also trying to be cool at the same time. (kinda hard to explain cus I'm still kinda figuring out their personality 😟)
