Well, heres how the process works typically -Bond building (Building a bond with the victim) -Trust building (they try to gain your trust through favors and such) -Hiding (Theyʻll make sure that you and their relationship ("friendship" or SO (significant other) is kept between the two of you) -Pictures (they ask you or manipulate you to send lewd pictures of yourself or others)) -Meeting (Eventually theyʻll ask to meet you in person"

It happens everywhere and just bc you dont hear abt it doesnʻt mean it not happening
