Well theres many types of books, Genesis is a historical account, so are most of the first Old testament books, (exodus, leviticus, numbers, etc) Ruth is a story about a foreign woman’s loyal love leading to redemption, hope, and God shaping the family line of King David. There also are poetic books, i.e. Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes. They all are filled with truth and wisdom, but arent necessarily historical accounts of events. We also have the prophets (big prophets&small prophets) which are oracles of God himself, speaking through a select few people His rebukes and or plans for (mainly) the Israelites, but also many prophecies about Jesus and what is to come through him. Then we have the 4 gospels, which are historical accounts of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. Next up we have “Acts” which is just what the apostles did after Jesus ascended, and after that we have a lot of practical letters (mostly from paul) about how to live our life as christians and what we can do to serve God, and finall

Finally, Revelation, it is the last book of the Bible. It is the account of John’s vision and revelation from God about what is to come, and how the end times will be.
