If your having difficulty, make it look like you didn’t really try! Then everybody thinks it looks cool.

when drawing an animal or person in a strange or dynamic pose I usually use a reference pic so i don't screw up. The drawing usually turns out better when I use a pic. Use two or three colors from the same side of the color wheel then use a complementary color. Like if you are using blue, teal, and green a complementary color would be orange or red.
