“once you’re here, you can never leave… trust me, I tried..” :he let out a low chuckle:
:he waited for zanec to bounce off an invisible force: “it won’t workkkk” :he called out:
“Yes.. you don’t age here.. we’re stuck for all eternity..” :he looked at zanec:
:he sighed: “well, it is nice to have some company after 100 years..”
“Nothing happens here. No pain. No age. Like we’re frozen in time..”
“Maybe we are?!- I hadn’t thought of the before.. there are resources in this house! We- we can build something to get us out of here!” :he got excited:
:he found some tools and started using wire, intricately twisting individual pieces:
“You can try, though I’m pretty sure I already have” :magic beams started weaving in the wire, coming from matts hands:
:the wire and magic beams started to form the shape of a clock, little wire cogs forming:
“Shush-“ :many hands formed on the clock, and strange symbols appeared instead of numbers, etched on with magic:
“Done.” :the wire clock glinted in the pale light coming out the window:
“I-it’s telling me to throw it- hang on” -he walked towards the barrier:
:he chuckled the clock through the barrier and it started ticking: “I-it went through?”

:his eyes went wide as the ticking went faster and he grabbed zanec: “somethings happening-“
:he held zanecs arm just as they went spinning into a whirlpool:
:they both landed outside the house, clock on the floor infront of them: “IT WORKED!! YES!”
“YOU DONT KNOW HOW LONG IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!” :he hugged zanec in excitement:
“Ok moments over. I’m going to find my home.” :he didn’t know it had been destroyed 50 years ago:
“We are in your world. Because I travelled with you. I didn’t change for you.”
:he picked up the clock and looked around: “in my day this place was way different..”
“For a start there we’re other houses here.” :he looked at the flat countryside around the house:
