At a young age, Jaiden was put up for adoption, because neither of his parents were physically well enough to take care of him. Anyways, the family that took him in didn’t really pay much attention to him, so often, he’d sneak out to find people to talk to elsewhere. One day, he began talking to his neighbor, Kylen. Kylen was an older man who lived alone, no spouse, no children The only thing he had was a dog, a dog named Reed. Jaiden grew very close with his neighbor, seeing him as a father figure, and hanging around the dog alot. But things began to take a turn for the worse, Quickly. On Jaiden’s 13th birthday, the man he had befriended, the man he trusted Sexually assaulted him. Not knowing what to do, he couldn’t seem to mentally cope with it. He developed an interesting way of coping,, Talking to Reed. Then Reed began talking back. Or so he thought. It was actually a demon that sorta possessed his own mind, convincing him that this dog was talking to him. Yeah so

Through grief, pain, and internal turmoil This demon latched onto Jaiden and really just started screwing with his emotions and thoughts. That’s when Jaiden began dismembering small animals while they were alive, and feeding the scraps to Reed. “Reed” kept telling him to harm these animals, But then it began getting worse and worse, To the point he was killing other dogs and cats, not even giving the bits to Reed, but leaving them out for display so that pedestrians would see. People of the community were deeply concerned to see their pets slaughtered and left out for display But Jaiden kept working. One day, “Reed” told Jaiden,, The animals weren’t enough. So he told him to get rid of Kylen. And you can imagine what happened.

From that point, he just started to “Blindly” follow “reeds” orders. His white eyes represent his obliviousness to the demon controlling him, as well as his fits of rage. But yeah Jaiden’s backstory is kinda gruesome.
