[OC MUST BE AN ADULT!] you were living a pretty nice life! you had a house and a job you liked! one night, before you went to bed, you felt something bash into your head.... knocking you out clean..... you woke up in at a candle lit table...... seeing every chair filled by someone, that someone in every chair being the ghost of a child..... at the very end of the table sat a girl.... a living girl..... she had cat ears and a tail, and a WIDE open smile going across her face as she was talking..... the silence was deafening and eerie...... -he was tied to the chair he was sitting in ..... and all the children, they were all silent.... it was deafening how quiet it was..... but at the end of the long table, there was one candle that looked like it had recently been blown out.... and a living girl who was talking but her words went almost completely unheard-

???: i wouldn't do that if i were you..... you nasty adult.....*her gaze could be felt from the other side of the table as she spoke up* you'll get a pretty gross burn.... -the children looked at him with wide, crying eyes.... almost as if they wanted him to never leave-

???: why does it matter to you!? your age group left us to drown in our sorrows...... *her tail flicked, as well as her ears* -one of the kids closest to the girl balled up and started sobbing-

-a few more children dug their faces into their hands and cried- ???: i just want to say one thing.......*her voice echoed through the dark, silent room*

???: you notice anything?....... anything about my friends here...... -all of them were kids.... the oldest looking around 11 and the youngest being 4-

???: exactly...... *she glared at void, her wide smile disappearing in seconds* you know who never stopped ANY of it from happening?! *she started to sound angry, her ears folding down and pinning onto her head*

yeah probably)) ???: the ADULTS! *she calmed back down and lowered her voice again* of course.... we're ALL just...... i don't know.... STUPID KIDS! *the fork and knife she was holding dropped onto the table as she threw her hands out signaling to all the kids*...... and you adults just never died.... maybe you're just smart.... that's all....

poor boy.... i feel SOME pity UuU)) ???: no you aren't......*she glared at him once again* -some of the oldest kids glared at him as well... they looked like they were about to start yelling terrible things at him, such as insults and curse words-

???: *she picked up the child and held him close looking at void with a calm expression* -the child wrapped his arms around the girl, still crying but soon calming down-

???: *she looked at the little boy and smiled*..... Soma..... you alright, bud? -the kid's voice was high pitched and shaky from crying- Soma: S-smo-smoky...... I miss m-mama sa-sato!

soma: smoky..... i'm scared..... smoky: it's all right, soma ^^ one day you will see Satoshi again *she smiled at soma then looked at void again, glaring sightly* some of us were taken from the only people we've known..... you probably understand that..... don't you?

smoky: *she looked at the kid again with a big smile then set him back in his chair, she then went back to a calm, straight face* so then you understand what Soma here has gone through.... a small 8 year old.... he lost the woman he called his mother to the people who were supposed to "protect" him...... he was then killed off because he drowned 6 out of 7 of those "protecters".....

smoky: then the other kiddo next to me...... his name is Terrence... and he grew up in poverty.... he starved....

Smoky: *started pointing to each of the kids, saying there names and hardships*

Smoky: I just said why! *walked back over to her seat and sat down picking up her fork and knife again, tapping them together*

-the rest of the kids said their foods... all but one... the very youngest child at the table-

-the kid looked at him with a dead expression-

smoky: *noticed this happen and she set down her chopsticks, looking at the kid slightly worried* Quincy.... you alright? -the kid looked at one of the candles-

smoky: oh... poor girl..... you don't have any dinner *stood up, walked over and pick the kid up* -a few seconds she took the small 4 year old into the shadows, disappearing completely, leaving everyone alone-

Soma: *was standing right next to void's chair* h-hey... m-mister.... *tugged on void's shirt a little*

soma: smoky.... smoky said that we're alike because of wh-what we lost..... *his eyes still had tears in them*

Soma: What'd you lose.....

Soma: *he looked at him with a sad expression, his little tail swaying*.... I'm sorry.....

Soma: *he hugged void*

-his hair was soft and fluffy and his little horns, unlike what people believe, felt almost like marshmallows atop his head-

-when some of the other kid's had finished, they walked over and helped comfort void-

-the rest finished and went over as well-

-the girl came back over but she was silent while walking over-

Smoky: *she looked over his chair and smiled*

Smoky: You alright? ^^

Smoky: *walked around in front of void* you were crying..... Weren't you....

Smoky: don't be embarrassed! Everyone cries ^^..... And believe it or not... Soma was crying the whole time he was hugging you

Soma: *still crying, just very silently*

Soma: *hugged him back and whispered* Sato..... *smiled*

-a short while later after she left there was a loud scream-

-most of the older kids looked up and ran over in the direction of the scream, as the other couple of oldest kids stayed back.... One un-tied void and the other did a head-count of everyone-

-the boy looked up at him after standing up- ?: *he had a slight British accent* of course! You seemed worried about smoky, and we all need her to stay alive

?: Really?.... Well if so I thank you... I'm Henry by the way *did a small bow*

Henry: Nice to meet you! *he looked at the other older kid behind him* Jennie.... Take care of everyone while we go check on smoky! -the girl nodded, already holding the two youngest kids-

-they walked into the shadows and henry moved what seemed to be a curtain out of the way, revealing a giant room that looked like a kitchen.... the room was very bright and it had people in there of all different shapes and sizes, but they all had bandages covering their eyes- henry: *looks around a bit, looking for smoky*

-she wasn't anywhere in there..... But at the very back of the room some white hair and blood could be found-

Henry: *he gasped out of fear and looked around frantically* where could she've gone?!

Henry: Yeah.... Hm... *picked up a blonde strand of hair* uhhh..... What the hell...??

Henry: H... How?!

Henry: Y-yeah...... *stood up and looked at a door*

-the room was pitch black but two voices could be heard.... Smoky's... And.... Raie's voice..... He was interrogating her by the anger in his voice and the worry in hers-

Raie: *he looked over at the door, still unseen* void?! smoky: *looked over at the door, sobbing, and she tried to get away but raie grabbed her by the back of her shirt, stopping her from leaving*

-they both walked into the light.... Well raie walk smoky got dragged.....- Raie: *he was holding a knife* but..... She took you away from me.....

Raie: *he dropped smoky and the knife and hugged him back, crying* Smoky: *she scrambled to another side of the room... The corner the older kids were cooped up in*

raie: *just kept crying, feeling really sorry for how he acted* Henry: *ran off to fetch the others*

-after a while all of the rest of the kids were in the doorway, looking for smoky, worried-

raie: *he looked up at void, tears still in his eyes* -smoky and all of the older kids walked to the doorway-

raie: *he looked at his feet, still feeling guilty* smoky: *standing in the doorway with all of the kids looking at the two, still crying a bit*

raie: *he looked up slightly at void then behind him at all the kids*

soma: *walked in front of void and looked up at raie with a smile* raie: *sniffled and smiled at soma*

Raie: *looked at void* do..... Do you know him...? *he sniffled again and looked back at soma* Soma: *he held onto his hat to keep it on as he giggled a bit*

Raie: *he tried putting his hand on soma's head, but his hand fell through and he almost fell* Soma: *he yelp slightly and tilted his head down*

Smoky: It takes trust....... Soma: H-he hurt smoky...... *he backed into void but instead, went right through him*

Smoky: Don't worry.... They still trust you.... but not him *pointed to raie, her hand had a deep cut on it* Raie: *he looked at her, he didn't look happy but he wasn't sad nor mad*

Smoky: I get that.... All of us do.... Henry: But, like you said, void.... If she dies, we all die! *put his hands out signaling to everyone*

raie: *looked away, embarrassed from the truth he was about to spill* well..... i had... a feeling that something would.... that something would happen to the ghosts... smoky: *put her hand down, blood still dripping from the cut, well more of a stab, in her hand*

raie: *still looking at the floor* i-..... i get that..... *tears started forming in his eyes again*

smoky: oh um.... i hate to ruin a moment..... but... *rummaged around in the pocket of her skirt for something*

Smoky: *pulled out a small box, big enough for a ring* this look familiar? Found while looking around....

raie: *still looked away* smoky: *nodded* well.... when i opened it.... it had a ring in it.... ^^

raie: *blushed slightly not looking at anyone still* smoky: *smiled, still holding the box*

raie: *he moved his eyes to look at void, still blushing*

Raie: What.... *he whispered softly*

Raie: *his eyes widened and he looked away crying* y... You mean... You... *blushing, smiling a bit*

Raie: *he hugged void, crying*

smoky: *she handed the box to soma* soma: *he held the box and walked over to the two*

Smoky: *she looked at him with a curious expression, yet she was happy* I... Of course.... Raie: *he walked up to her and smiled* I'm sorry for your hand.... It must hurt like hell *he looked sad*

Smoky: *she looked at raid and nodded then looked at void with a look of shock, she was overwhelmed and she fell to her knees and cried*

-the children all hugged her* Smoky: *her tail was wrapped over her legs and her ears were pinned it her head and she was just sobbing*

Raie: *he looked at void and gave a look of concern* she might be overwhelmed.... When teens separated from society like this get introduced to more kindness then they're used to, this'll happen sometimes

Smoky: *she sniffled and stood up, tears still in her eyes* c'mon..... Raie: *nodded*

Smoky: *looked at soma and held his hand as she turned around and started to walk away* Raie: *smiled a bit*

Raie: C'mon ^^ *started to walk with void, following smoky*

Smoky: *walking with soma to the entrance* Raie: *following*

-when they got to the entrance, soma hugged void's leg-

Soma: You sure? *he looked up a void* Smoky: *she looked at her hand, it was still bleeding*

raie: *he looked back at the two as they left and he smiled* -the two waved good-bye as smoky stopped soma from trying to follow them-
