he’s got a lot of lore connected with jürgen and corvus but I’m gonna try keep it brief but he’s basically a super-human!! he was created in a lab by Corvus using the dna of two different people, he is the living cure for the darkness virus in his universe and is completely immune to said virus, his blood can cure people from it!!! he’s the general of the emissaries of her return(cult) military and jürgen’s right hand man + next in line for the supreme leader title!! he struggles understanding basic human emotions bc he was raised isolated in corvus’s lab, so he kinda behaves robotically in a way, he’s starting to learn human emotions now though because he has a son he really cares abt and he has friends that he grew to love and care for!! :D

Mel/Melanie is a seraphim closer to a human and she's been around for maybe 1000 years. She's generally in charge of smiting people from a huge list and then she dies- that's just her purpose.
She was cursed pretty early on by the gods because of messing with Hermes and is responsible for the early race of harpies(and non-ethereal angels because of speciation.) She wasn't sent to hell because her god thought her punishment was suiting and her being cast out would be a reminder that she shouldn't mess with anything- because it's simply not her job to.
She's had like four husbands because she's pretty picky.
