both of these people are allegedly neurodivergent which means that technically they can reclaim it, but using r*tard in a derogatory way (especially against other nd people, like myself) is still ableist

if anyone reading this could boost this in some way. that'd be great both of these people have done other really bad things and im tired of it being looked over just because they have a big number next to their name this site's going to shit because of it

do your job as the site owner and stop allowing this. ableism is incredibly normalized pretty much everywhere. no matter how much i talk about how ableism on this site affects me every day people don't listen and they tell me that what i'm experiencing isn't ableism. despite the fact i've had a slur hurled at me and generally just had ableist insults thrown at me and nothing's been done about it. not on the majority of this site's part, or on yours.

also gonna talk abt this since more people are seeing this people on this site continually keep telling me that what i'm not experiencing is ableism. that people using ableist slurs they can't reclaim and then agreeing with ableist things and speaking over nd people on their own oppression and labelling it for them, isn't ableism. and i guarantee you that you have no clue what you're talking about. as someone only (semi) recently diagnosed with adhd? the worlds of "thinking you're neurotypical and normal" and "knowing you're neurodivergent" are vastly different. oppression looks a lot different when all of a sudden you're the one experiencing it. don't tell me, as someone who's only lived in the neurotypical world, that oppression you've never faced is not oppression.
