Sally held her mom's hand tight as they walked to the playground. It might rain later, so they assumed it would be good to go now. Her mother sat on a bench by the tree's not far from her. Right as Sally hopped on the small swing she looked around, it had been years since anyone really came here, that's what made it sweet. It was a safe haven. The monkey bars were rusted and broken and the mulch was overthrown by weeds and grass. But the flowers on the side of the ring around the playground gave it a calming feeling. But after a while her mother seemed to go without her. Sally had come to the playground many times, she always had followed her mother there after one time. Her mom would take the small swing she would take those years ago, so she would sit on the ground beside her. "Mom what's wrong?" She asked as her mother had small tears drip from her eyes. Her mother didn't respond "are you alright?" (continued in next comment)

After moments of silence Sally noticed rain started to sprinkle from the clouds, so she tugged on her mom's sleeve. Again her mom didn't respond, so she ran back to the house without her. She arrived at the house from the back and looked around as the rain poured heavier. She ran faster to reach the door but tripped on something and turned to find what it was. A small stone laid in the grass under what seemed to be a covered up hole. And the stone read: "Here's lies Sally, beloved daughter and friend."
