Don't worry please. There was a tornado in my area and it went alright, if you see the tornado (NOT ON TV LMAO) then stay calm and pack some emergency stuff. Just breathe ok?
Why does everyone say 'get in a bathtub'? A cellar would provide much more safety since it is underground. If a tornado is near your home, it will rip up everything, and toss it maybe a few feet, and more likely a few miles away. Being a bathtub will not save you. It might actually cause more harm than good.

Get to the lowest and safest point in the house, like a basement closet/bathroom. Me and my family use a room of small proportions, and it is interior, small, glass less, and almost item free.
Ah no, its okay, I looked it up after posting that, and Im actually kind of wrong. A bathroom is the second safest place in your house, as the pipes in the floors and walls will make the room harder to be picked up and thrown, so unless you don't have a cellar/basement, than a bathroom would/should be your next option.
ive lived thru a couple tornadoes in my area too
its a bit spooky when u can see it like 10 blocks down the way but eh u will probably survive

Take in deep breaths, you're going to be okay. Don't freak out about it; that'll make it worse.
If there's a cellar near you (underground room thing for tornadoes) get yourself and your family in there.
If not, get unto the bathtub, that's the safest place you can find.
You can also try to evacuate your house, but that's probably not the best idea. It depends how close it is.
